Hey all,

Just wondering what everyones thoughts about him are ?
He's in my team atm, but with his high price seems to be the one i always look at to downgrade...

Is he overpriced at just over 600,000?
Or is he gonna just get better and better ?

Blueboys

Too much $$$ for whats out there. I would down grade him if you need cash.

For who Blueboys??? who can pick up his average? Gibbs?

Blueboys

Goodard
Goodes
Selwood

Half that list are not that much cheaper mate!

Torress

had NDS all year last year and he did not let me down. very effective player!
blueboys is right - u can't start picking blokes over 600k from start - u gotta get on the ppl who r going to improve or actually who will improve the most (so u gotta look cheaper) sometimes a swap from NDS to a gibbs is a very valuable 50k to use elswhere, u do that with most of ur expensive prems u can find 200k for a extra couple of mid pricers rather than rookies, ect ect
- u will get him at a better price at some stage if u really want him- i personally will be keeping a close eye on him.

Justin Bieber

i agree with torress. i haven't got anybody over 600k except for roo (one less trade to use later).

lots of mids between 550k - 600k worth a look.

NDS is pretty consistent with 4 of the last 5 years averages at 115 or so. the year he didn't was around 100. Looked at him for a captain choice since i didn't have ablett) making my team this year. Might still make his way into my team though.

Maybe more upside though!  ;D

brownmans muffins

he's a quality player
last year he was very reasonably-priced coming off a down year & was always a good bet to return to the 110-120 average, which he did

try finding this year's nds / hayes type player

there aren't many that have the track record so maybe you're looking for a 90-100 player to get to 110-120?

jimmyha

Yeah very true brownmans,
But what makes me hold on to him as well is what he did at the start of last season with the first 3-4 games, posting some huge scores...

that's a sound call; bear in mind you're now footing the bill for those past scores.
there's nothing wrong with paying the extra $ for your confidence in the player.
alternatively you could look for a 100-105, like nds was last year, who either has the 110+ track record or who you think will make the jump... lots of people seem to be putting bernie vince in the latter category
