Mr.Craig

In addition to the LaHug thread I thought I'd put up a poll so people can see which captains are popular this week.

We're certainly spoilt for choices with most of the in form premiums vsing weaker teams. Vote away and leave your thoughts. :)

lollipop man

I'll be bringing in Stevie J this week and plan to make him captain. ;D

I think if we share the workload  for the next few weeks while La Hug is away it will help?

Ill start with some of the common guys in my team that ill consider...
I cant find all the stats for the grounds so this will have to do for me anyway...

Delidio - Last 3 v St Kilda, 62, 99, 103

Pendles - Scored 124 against Gold Coast last year and last 3 at MCG 132, 113, 133

Boyd - Actually looks quite impressive against Sydney, last 3 games against them have been 91, 134, 117 and last 3 games at SCG were 73 (way back in 2008!), 110 (2010) and 117 (2011).

Sidebottom - Not much history there with a 94 last year vs Gold Coast. Last 3 at MCG 87, 109, 139

Ablett - Last 3 against Collingwood 108, 122, 97. Last few games at MCG 129, 120, 145, 105, 114,  109, 108 (all in 2010) and a 96 this year. Puts into perspective how he plays at MCG with the Suns.

Its a little bit of a lazy job so feel free to add your bit to these players. I havent got the time to go into detail. But Ablett looks alright for me and maybe even Boyd, but cant do it against Sydney...

For what it's worth Stanton's previous scores against Melbourne haven't been awesome - 63, 65, 94, 86, 87

That will probably change this weekend though.

Windigo

I'm going with Sidey. No reason why he cannot score big this week.  8)

I'm risking Sidey.  My opponent, unless he trades him in, doesn't have him at all, so it could really pay off for me.

Can he pump out two massive scores in a row though?  I love having Robbo in my team, but as soon as I put the big C on him I just know he's going to get a 70 or something.

Yeah, too risky. I was just throwing that stat out there for fun. ;)

He should be good for 100-110, can't see him scoring much more than that.

Who else do you have? It might not be the week for Stants.

For those who haven't caught up with Calvin's Captains they were..

1. Sidey
2. Pendles
3. Selwood
4. Beams
5. Ablett

And the top 5 picks on the DT Talk reader poll have so far have been

1. Sidey
2. Pendles
3. Selwood
4. Ablett
5. Stevie J
