I'd prefer Jmac chances over Smith, especially if Smith isn't named this week.

No I'd be keeping Shiel over Jmac purely on Job Security, Shiel didn't play any Nab cup games but got selected for the first game and only got rested the once (Shows that he's highly rated at the club). IMO he is one of the best candidate as an 8th midfielder for the year.

Starting to get some good scores of late too, averaging 80 over the month

That's what I thought as well but it means waiting another week for ablett and having to play 2 rooks

I would keep shiel looked amazing Saturday night and jmac coaching is frustrating and might not be able to be trusted in bye rounds

who says JMac will score so poorly just because GWS are playing the cats
pretty sure Melbourne and Gold Coast players have still scored 100s before at Skilled Stadium (or whatever its called now)
and JMac could even be tagging JSelwood so will be in for plenty of tackles
a b/e of 20 odd and an average of 87 is reason enough for me to keep him
not sure I'd go Horsley out for Sexton either, Horse looks to be the next Barlow - sure he had a poor week, but so did Gazza

I don't, and for bye structure J-Mac -> Ablett round 11 then Horsely -> Pendlebury round 13 works best.
