I am trading out Nick Smith (who I can't remember why I got!) and can pretty much get any defender (already have Goddard, Deledio, Heppell, Hargrave, Clarke, Grimes, Bugg & Spurr).

Waters for sure.
1. Works well with your byes
2. He loves to junk it up and runs forward for a goal here and there

Waters definately! I'll be bringing him in pretty soon. If I don't have to get rid of any of the following. Goddard, Deledio, Shaw, Broughton, Hargrave, Bugg and Clarke.  8)

i doubt he cares about byes, looking at his structure

I'm not too worried about byes. Just trying to win my league and coming 2nd at the moment. Happy to wear donuts through the bye rounds and come out the other side with more trades leading into the finals.

well if u are coming 2nd, then dont trade and just wait...
even though u didnt have him as an option, scotland is a better choice then either enright or waters

I have my eye on both.... Enright has a nice be this week of 54. Has looked good the last two weeks, and his next five games are pretty easy GWS, Carlton, BYE, Sydney, Port, GC. So if you want him at all this season, now looks to be the week.
Waters coming off two big weeks will most likely pick up $20k odd in price, but will be the perfect trade option in round 12 in your backline.
You may not be worried about the donut byes, but no reason not to use them the same as everyone else will

if he doesnt need to burn trades during byes then why do so? save your trades dude, others will burn off 5-6 trades and you'll have kept them,, which will allow you to double trade in the 3-4 weeks leading into the finals and have 4-6 trades for the finals  i.e. you will have a big advantage over the other peeps in your league/s
