Insider out

I am thinking of trading up to Selwood this week. I know its risky as he has plenty of cash to be made but........ If he pumps out another 50 or so the cash will dry up and the majority of punters could have him on the field as mid 6.

I think over the next 2 -  3 weeks selwood could go up as much as the horse??

If you can upgrade him to a super premium now then I would, especially if it completes your mids.  I'm just waiting for Swan to come back so I can get on him to complete my mids.  For now, Horse is fine as he can pump out big scores, despite being well below par last round.

I'm not sure what to do. His cash cow fatness is very hard to ignore, but having a guy on the pine who will play every week and can smash out 100 scores could end up being more valuable then trading him in. Having him as cover during finals could be the difference between winning and losing a finals match. Last season i had Heppel as my D8 and i ended up playing him just about every week to cover for somebody in the middle or backline. Having a regular playing solid scoring emergency is absolutely crucial.

You make a good point, but I'm using my MID/FOR link up in the mids for coverage there for the rest of the season. Horsely needs to be cashed in, particularly if he wants to start pulling 50s...

his inflated price is tempting to cash, i think i will keep him as bench cover with zorko
+ 1 .. no point upgrading your whole team and having spuds that dont play on your bench .. if you get an injury or two to your Premos you end up copping donuts .. i think ill keep Horse and J.Mac for cover

elephants

Bench cover at this stage but that is subject to change.

jmac could be dodgy cover, as i understand he isnt going to play every game as has been shown so far

I think Zorko and Cameron will be my bench keepers. Having round 11 byes like they do, it makes the most sense.

Yeah thats why i would keep the Horse and J.Mac that way should have atleast one of them playing week in week out .. they both score well

that'll be a heap of cash sitting on the pine unless you dont need it then its a good plan

Yeah maybe unrealistic .. have Horse as M6 at the moment .. need to upgrade 1 more mid hoping that will be Neale using cash from forward rooks leaving Mac and Horse on the bench .. then that leaves back upgrades (Clarke,Dempsey,Hargrave) so it might be possible  :-\
