Prior to MRB's he'll go out, Hale (round 13 bye also) will be swung into the rucks, and a replacement forward traded in. That's why I had Hale in my forwards, I had a feeling this would happen.

Great work having a backup plan, looks like a no brainer now. Are you bringing in a RUC/FOR in your forward line to swap Hale around, or leaving him as 3rd ruck..?

With Lobbe back I don't see him getting much game time now.  :(

i keep hearing lobbe is back but does anyone know why he hasn't played or been named emergency? he clearly had a solid end to 2011

I'd be happy to cop a 0 if Jacobs was performing well, but he's been shocking. Seriously considering Jacobs-Maric in Rd 11.

I think he had hip surgery. Played his first 2 or 3 games recently since the op.

Lobbe still needs to get more match fitness into him at the SANFL level...within a couple of weeks i heard...

Anyone with the Jacobs/Giles combo is looking in trouble..

A few more with the Cox/Giles combo, including most of the top 10 teams. Same difference in terms of byes though and yeah Redden has stuffed up the structure.

So, anyone considering Giles -> Maric to avoid ruck doughnut over the bye period? (assuming Stephenson keeps playing!!)

I wanted to do Redden to Maric... Can't afford it though... Giles is killing it and Jacobs form is dying... Considering trading Jacobs :o

Don't trade Jacobs just yet you need to savor every trade and Jacobs will be the all Australian ruckman this year, number 1 in hit outs to advantage. He has just had 2 low possession games but will come good he is almost like a midfielder than a ruck.

I saw that! Could be our only hope... Gets recalled and plays well, thus retaining his spot.
