hey DTers! is darley worth getting for you?

in SC he is for sure, my dad does DT and i give him trade advice from time to time. is darley worth downgrading for this comp as well or is it not worth the trade. are there any other DT downgrade def targets for you? cheers

Darley got 42 points I think it was when he came onto the field last week
So long as he keeps getting name for GWS he is a great option since rookie backs are pretty low this year

he is the only real option at teh moment, a few more may debut soon but he is it for now, not worth playing but worth it as a bench rook for emergencies and if your cashing in a bugg or other maxed out DEF rook you got to downgrade to someone.

Showed he can play in NAB cup should get semi regular games in the GWS fashion

i was going to recommend bugg->darley then either eski/ellis/smedts->waters after r11 bye.
his backs atm are: lids, godd, scotland, broughton, shaw, eski, bugg (ellis smedts)

Thinking of holding a week on Darley to see if he's named after the byes. If you were to bring him in now but he misses round 12, you'd be spewing as you've just given yourself a doughnut you could've avoided by not trading..! Holding a week will only cost an extra $30-40k which considering the lack of defensive downgrades, isn't that painful.

I'm waiting until after the GWS bye then probably doing Clarke -> Darley (if he's named that week!).


Is he in the team for good now barring rests (as we've seen with Bugg, Smith, Cameron, etc.) or will only good form keep him in?

Yeh I wouldn't wait a week on Bugg -> Darley, but I've already sold Bugg. I've got Hargrave & Waters as round 11 byes also, so unless I do Hargrave -> Darley I really should wait the week I think. Means I can avoid the Clarke doughnut in round 12. My whole defence:

i aint reading to much into one qtr of footy,  he did have 91% TOG the week before and only score 64 in saying that not as if you have any other options :P
