I heard Heppel will miss again this week. IMO Shaw is the pick of the bunch.

because of the stupid factor...I would probably look at Heppel...going to be a leader in the Essendon group soon enough...just a great young kid...plus gets the ball consistently...

Defs jump on shaw he is the pick of the rd 12 defenders. I made the mistake of taking heppell over shaw chasing hes 130+ score a few weeks ago and have since been rewarded with a disappointing 60,60 and 0 thanks to being rested. Poor choices like this have chucked me from 231st to 1074th :/ Shaw is in great touch and has scored fantastically lately, with the amount of injuries they have had so far at collingwood it seems he has taken some leadership along with beams and sidey, standing up and leading from the front. Cant go wrong with shaw and he will average the most for the rest of the year out of broughts, heppell and himself.

But obviously get Shaw if Heppell's out.
Not exactly any other options out there.... Duffield or Johnson might come next.... lol

Geez I'm liking the love for Shaw displayed here seeing as I brought him in last week. Is this only in the context of round 12 defenders though, or are people thinking Shaw will be top 7 defender material from here on?
