He looks to be about the only decent option as a downgrade in the Mid/Fwd lines.

He was one that I penciled into my team if he played round 1. A pre-listed player.

"Sexton was a member of the AIS/AFL Academy last season, representing Queensland at the 2010 NAB AFL U/16 championships and the 2011 U/18 Championships.

He won the Alan McClean medal at the 2010 championships, averaging 20 possessions and booting 7 goals as well as being number 2 in hard ball gets & 4th in contested possessions. In that carnival he averaged an impressive 140 points.

However the next year he was less dominant averaging 70 and was down across the stats board.

Sexton's recruitment was a coup for the Suns.

Had he entered the draft, Sexton was considered a definite first-round pick and could have been in the top 10.

The AFL's national talent manager Kevin Sheehan said he was "a natural" and a standout for Queensland at the 2010 under-16 Australian championships.

Scored a nice 22 in a QTR last week and backed it up with a solid 60.

If he get's named you'd really have to consider him. His bye is very handy and he really only needs to play for until after their bye basically.

Actually idk really if I should because I want to keep Smith and Adams still has some cash to make

The_Captain

Devon smith. Adams has a lower break even ! And will make you more money!

Do you think it's time to cull smith? I think he's performed pretty well to be a keeper on the bench. I also think he still has some cash to be made but a Jmac upgrade in a few weeks sounds to tempting to turn down

The_Captain

yeh but adams will make more. Smith wont go up anymore that 30k i wouldnt of thought...

Sound fair and the point of both players is to cull them eventually, Sexton looks promising and doesn't cost much for a promising rookie. I'll probs cull Smith this week and save the money to upgrade Jmac in a few weeks
