How Many Trades Do You Have Remaining??

how have most of you guys gone through so many trades? I know there has been a few injuries but that should tell you there is going to be more injuries to come. So many of you guys seem to think they are going to get through the rest of the season after the byes with 8 or less trades. Its just not going to happen. Injuries will happen and many of you will be tradeless by rd20. Im sure many won't like this post but the fact is its the truth. Some people will say but my team is set now. Well im sorry but when it comes to injuries players don't avoid injuries because your team is set it still happens.

If you've got 6-8 left after the byes and your team is pretty much set surely you won't cop 8 severe injuries in the latter part of the season tho??

You may not have LTI but a week here and a week here means a doughnut here and a doughnut there. Its adds up and yea occasionaly you will have cover but how often do you a non playing emg in positions come the back end of the season? fairly often. Then you players getting rested from about rd 20 onwards. I will tell you now I have 15 trades left and think I will only just have enough.

im down to 12, the only good thing is i have held swanny and ablett and it looks like both were great calls, if i can exit the byes with 7 trades and a full squad i will be happy.

I'm gonna have 14 if i only do one trade this round. One of Sexton/Darley are probably coming in, most likely sexton at this stage...

Will only have 4 upgrades to do if Giles & Golby are keepers which would take about 7 trades as i will have cash for one upgrade with the downgrade this round. Would leave me with about 7 trades. Should be enough for any injuries, sideways trading guys down on form or just last upgrades (e.g. upgrading Giles to a true premo?).
I think most will have around 7 if they want a full team or at least close to being full especially with all the sideways trading needing to be done early this year....
At the moment not thinking of upgrading until after the byes.... could change though.
Ranked 11k(started with four 2000's and two 1900's) for those interested. Coming back with 3 consecutive 2200's though :)

I donno, i reckon you might be ok. Say 3 LTI's, would require 4 or 5 trades to keep a true premium???

But then you have to worry about the old rest situation at the end of the season (FINALS TIME!).

As for the 1 or 2 week injury point, well they will have probably made that up at the start of the season with trades like Ablett. I personally wont leave myself with only 7 or so trades, but im now focussing on league wins. Good luck to those who are trading hard. I hope it works, i just cant do it!

Im gonna have 11 after this week. If I can get past the byes with 6-7 left I think I'll be ok. Only got a few more trades to do and I think im set. Currently now just outside top 1000 overall.

i think leaving 8 or more trades for the last 10 rounds is a lil extreme :o If you have a field off 22 premo's after rd13 and bench players like zorko,treloar,ellis,darley,sexton etc then if you have a premo rested for a week or 2 these guys are perfect cover and its what there there for. Im leaving 5 trades for LTI's and would have to be extremely unlucky to have more then that in 9 rounds of footy
