Am I stupid for going McDonald > Zorko?? - It gives me a DPP link, 156k and gives me the perfect BYE Structure....

My other options to be traded are:
Magner - Bad for Byes.
Treloar - Still cash to be made, doesnt help byes.
D.Smith - Cash to be made, doesnt help byes.
Hall - Only gives me 60k and I can just upgrade him later if not playing rd 11 & 13.

Thoughts please  :)

I got rid of Hall

Then maybe Smith to Sexton next week.

Jroo

Jmacs been pretty solid this year and has a lot of cash to make so yer I wouldnt cull him just as yet

Colliwobblers

i would not do that, zorko isnt a must, the sydney boy (mitchell) is tearing it up scored 41 possessions in 70 minutes of football in the twos last week scored 171 SC points.

he will be in soon wait and fatten your rooks fully, trades cant be wasted on half fattened rooks at this stage of the season i reckon, AND if you can downgrade during the byes it will help with donuts, hopefuly mitchell debuts next round....

Magner can go any time he is fattened. magner to zorko this round.

again dont trade the other gws rooks not fattened and hall is a waste of a trade for next to no cash gain.

Agree here and would trade Hall before anyone else

S_Coach99

I'd be looking for someone else in the midfield to cull if possible.

Im in an opposite situation where I need him though with Clay and Dane now playing.

Hope he pumps out a big one though.

I think either way your gonna cop a donut somewhere in the bye rounds .. i would personally get rid of Magner .. still gives you the link and you still make cash off J.Mac, Smith etc .. tough question good luck with that

In my opinion, McDonald is going to be my M7 (assuming he stays fit and healthy). Hes just reliable for 80+ every time he plays. Whereas someone like Zorko isn't so reliable for this (especially considering we haven't seen that much of him). Although, considering he gives you a MID/FWD link and it makes your bye structure much better, then why not. If you think he is reliable enough to last the season, or can fatten up enough before someone like Tom Mitchell comes in, then go for it. It's not stupid if it works for your team.

Think you should keep Mcdonald, hes projected to rise another 50k this week. I would trade Hall this week then look at trading Mcdonald next week, you'll pocket more cash and get the Dual position link you wanted. If you want the extra cash i would get rid of Magner

Spot on with what Whatlez said

Keep old Mac and cull Magner, more money and Jmac will play the next 2-3 weeks, cash up them sell! Good luk

God our team is similar

I have 7/9 backs (6/7 starters), 6/8 mids, 3/4 rucks and 8/9 forwards (7/9 is you take out Hall after this week).

Overall 24/30.

I agree, you have to keep j mac this week due to his consistency and price rise come. He could very easily rise 100k over the next 3 weeks. If he wasn't playing then I would say its a good trade but since he is playing he must be kept.

Chelskiman

JMac has a break even of like -20 and his lowest score of the season is 84.  Obviously he won't play every game but he has a lot of money in him yet.  I think you kind of have to hold him, at least for a couple more price rises.
