What's your priority - playing rooks through the byes or making money?

I have most typical rookies and am looking at a down/upgrade today to Zorko and J. Selwood.

I just want to know what types of rookies people are trading out.

I have Shiel and Magner who I'd get rid of were it not for the byes, however I also have Hall and C. Smith who aren't looking good through that period.

Would you trade for money or for playing rookies?

P.S. I can still afford the down/upgrade by trading out hall and smith, however I'd be 200k odd for hte better with Shiel and Magner.

I had planned to trade Kennedy for Zorko to keep Hall for the byes... Now thinking I will suffer in round 11 just dump Hall now as he doesn't look like playing!

Unless he is a surprise inclusion today

Depends what your plraying for and what you opponents sides in league matches looks like over the bye rounds. With Hall not playing the likelihood is that he will not be playing r11 and r12 thats 3 donuts. If you in the hunt for the cruiser thats not good. Smith is on the borderline of getting games and would be a slight chance to play r12 and r13. Id trade one of those out if overall was my goal prob hall.

Sitting on the fence a bit with that one.  Ranked around 5500 so not a chance for the car but would like to finish as high as possible, but would also like to win leagues.  Right now I'm leaning towards trading out Hall and Clay or maybe Hall and Shiel.

Seeing as your sitting on the fence Id hold off for as long as possible. Still get your zorks and selwood this week, the more premos the better. But you can always sideways hall r12 to a patton(should be in by then).

How i see, i'd be leaning to trading Clay more then Hall (i know that it sounds a little strange) but both have very poor JS.

Most people strategy is to have their side set and not have to trade for round 11 so this gives you an opportunity to trade Hall (if hes not selected) Whereas round come round 12/13 coaches already have players set-up by their bye structure that need trading, making it hard for Clay to be traded if hes not selected.

I think the round 11 players are the most important players to get right as they might be the hardest to re-correct.
