Hey guys,
Sorry this is so late but I had a million things due (down to one and procrastinating hard). If you appreciate my work, why not reward me with a little vote in the Personality of the Year Award? http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,45929.0.html

Each week, I will do some statistics on a player's last 3 games, their last 3 against this week's opponent, and their last 3 at this ground. I will also do a quick overview on my thoughts and taking a punt at their score for this week. If you have any requests, just ask away and I'll get to them as soon as I can!

The facts:

Boyd
Last 3 weeks: 128, 162, 94 (128 avg)
Last 3 against Geelong: 94, 112, 81 (96 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 162, 94, 146 (134 avg)

Selwood
Last 3 weeks: 136, 106, 69 (104 avg)
Last 3 against Bulldogs: 92, 139, 45 (92 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 106, 108, 122 (112 avg)

Deledio
Last 3 weeks: 160, 104, 107 (124 avg)
Last 3 against Hawthorn: 51, 113, 139 (101 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 160, 104, 109 (124 avg)

Mitchell
Last 3 weeks: 73, 103, 112 (96 avg)
Last 3 against Richmond: 108, 111, 105 (108 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 103, 112, 95 (103 avg)

Ablett
Last 3 weeks: 117, 106, 97 (107 avg)
Last 3 against Port Adelaide: 83, 133, 148 (121 avg)
Last 3 at Metricon: 160, 147, 142 (150 avg)

Stanton
Last 3 weeks: 124, 140, 193 (152 avg)
Last 3 against GWS: N/A
Last 3 at Skoda: N/A

Watson
Last 3 weeks: 134, 114, 134 (127 avg)
Last 3 against GWS: N/A
Last 3 at Skoda: N/A

Thompson
Last 3 weeks: 119, 138, 128 (128 avg)
Last 3 against Collingwood: 108, 107, 106 (107 avg)
Last 3 at AAMI: 138, 138, 109 (128 avg)

Pendlebury
Last 3 weeks: 133, 119, 133 (128 avg)
Last 3 against Adelaide: 103, 101, 87 (97 avg)
Last 3 at AAMI: 120, 92, 87 (100 avg)

Rockliff
Last 3 weeks: 125, 73, 76 (91 avg)
Last 3 against North: 110, 59, 116 (95 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 73, 110, 95 (93 avg)

The thoughts:

Boyd
Boyd is smashing some big scores making him look like a great captain choice every week! Except that he's not that great against the Cats... This is a matter of form vs. history and, this week, I'm going to side with history. Other than that 112, he's only had a single other ton in his 15 game career against them. I like his form this year so I'm guessing he'll get his third ton but it won't be pretty. Prediction - 105

Selwood
Other than the 69 (he he), Joel is having a great DT season and, with two 130+s so far, he's shown captain potential too. His record against the Doggies is pretty good (no idea why the 45 but I'm ignoring it anyway) with a couple of recent 130+s in there too. You'd expect him to score well. Prediction - 125

Deledio
Lids loves playing the Hawks. Other than his dismal 51 last year (when the Tigers were absolutely destroyed), he has had 113, 139, 125, 120 against them dating back to 2008. After his 160 last week, he's a legitimate option this week in a Tigers team that refuses to go down without a fight. Definitely smokey. Prediction - 125

Mitchell
Consistent against the Tigers but nothing special enough to counter his horrible recent form. Prediction - 100

Ablett
Word on the street is this guy likes playing at Metricon. Some of his scores there (particularly his last three) are ridiculous! Before that 83, he had 133, 148, and 127 against the Power. His recent form is lowly but that's because he has been coming back from injury. I think he'll explode this week. Prediction - 135

Stanton
Is it wrong to say that Stanton has slowed down with only 124 last week? This guy has been an absolute star and, with no scores against GWS or at Skoda to go by, we can only look at recent form. He was pretty average against GC this year so the crap team factor isn't really existent. That being said, he's Stanton, he's playing GWS, he'll smash it. Prediction - 135

Watson
Similar boat to Stanton. Killing it in DT, playing GWS, probably going to smash it. He has a lower ceiling than Stanton but he's definitely the safer option of the two as he surely won't drop below 110. Prediction - 125

Thompson
His form against Collingwood is pretty consistent but nothing special. He's killing is this year and he loves playing at AAMI. Should be in for a healthy score. Prediction - 120

Pendlebury
Pendles has been average against the Crows but, once as with Thompson, he's killing it right now. Nothing special at AAMI either and, without Swan, he'll either lift or get too much attention. I'll go with lift but there is a risk and, remember, the Crows are killing good teams right now. Prediction - 115

Rockliff
Rocky finally turned it around last week but he's so inconsistent this season it's impossible to back him. Think he'll be fine but too afraid of those 70somethings (and below) appearing in all three statistical averages. Prediction - 105

The verdict:

1. Ablett (135)
2. Stanton (135)
3. Watson (125)
4. Selwood (125)
5. Deledio (125)

Requests:

Sidebottom - Requested by Doyle
Last 3 weeks: 139, 115, 114 (123 avg)
Last 3 against Adelaide: 80, 110, 122 (104 avg)
Last 3 at AAMI: 104, 36 (70 avg)

Steele stepped up after Ball went down so who's to say he won't take another step without Swan? His recent form is great and he's pretty good against Adelaide as well. Last year, he wasn't so great against the Crows but I feel he'll bounce back. Good smokey option in pretty great form. Prediction - 115

Scotland - Requested by Spite
Last 3 weeks: 85, 98, 84 (89 avg)
Last 3 against Melbourne: 148, 102, 87 (112 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 97, 124, 79 (100 avg)

Scotland's last three weeks have been very poor but, against the Demons, he'll probably turn it around. He smashed them for 148 last year after a 102 earlier in the season. Still, his recent poor form is too much of a deterrent and I don't think he'll turn it around quite enough. Prediction - 105

Franklin - Requested by Chelskiman
Last 3 weeks: 81, 114, 105 (100 avg)
Last 3 against Richmond: 100, 96, 131 (109 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 114, 105, 118 (112 avg)

Buddy has been very up and down this season but still has a solid 96 average. He's been good against Richmond in the past and, as much as the Tigers have improved, Buddy will do what he has to do. He's been much better at the MCG than away from it this season so, being back there, I think he'll do well this week. Not expecting anything out of the ordinary though. Prediction - 110

Beams - Requested by MLS
Last 3 weeks: 100, 122, 137 (120 avg)
Last 3 against Adelaide: 88, 77, 78 (81 avg)
Last 3 at AAMI: 142, 86, 78 (102 avg)

Beams is in ripper form this season but he has never shown it against Adelaide. The Crows are dominating at the moment which is only likely to hinder his score, rather than help it. His form means he probably won't do horribly but I don't think we're looking at anything huge either. Prediction - 110

Robinson - Requested by Problems
Last 3 weeks: 54, 87, 123 avg)
Last 3 against Melbourne: 90, 131, 108 (110 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 127, 102, 82 (104 avg)

Robbo has been down in the last couple of weeks but, returning to the MCG against the hapless Dees, he should do well. He's been good against the Demons in the past and he loves the G. Hard to back him with his current form though. Prediction - 100

Shuey - Requested by henry
Last 3 weeks: 125, 91, 112 (109 avg)
Last 3 against Fremantle: 94, 67 (81 avg)
Last 3 at Subiaco: 125, 112, 88 (108 avg)

Shuey's recent form has been pretty good but in his only two Derbies against Freo last year, he didn't do anything special. It'd be pretty hard to see anything other than a regular ton this week. Prediction - 105

If you want me to look at another option, just ask in the comments!

Yeah, I'm going Deledio this week.

He is named HF this week? Scare you at all?

I am seriously considering scotland myself on the back of his 148 against Melb last year.

MLS

Love your work LaHug! What about Dayne Beams please
