I'd say we won't easily make the GF, but we made it the Semi's this year and lost to the eventual winners in Miami. Sure we lost Ray Allen, but tbh he wasn't even playing that great. KG and Peirce are underrated and I just see Rondo getting better and better.
Terry + Lee > Allen anyway :)

Rondo is the no. 1 'X-Factor' going into the season, agree or disagree?

Also, anyone want to join in and name their top 5 in each position (in order)? I'll kick it off...

PG: Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, Rajon Rondo, Deron Williams, Steve Nash - Thoughts: Could have put D-Rose at #1 but just falls behind Paul due to injury. Honourable mention to Russell Westbrook, just don't think he is a very good point guard, OKC need to slide him to SG

SG: Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Eric Gordon, James Harden, Monta Ellis - Thoughts: Kobe vs. Wade is always a tough one, but Kobe just wins out, is set for another great season with Nash giving him the ball and Dwight getting his boards. Honourable mention to Manu Ginobilli, but I just have Ellis in front of him.

SF: Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Paul Pierce, Andre Igoudala - Thoughts: top 3 is obvious, they get a bit thin after then, just give Pierce the edge over Iggy at this stage, Iggy is set for a big year though

PF: Kevin Love, Blake Griffen, Lamarcus Aldridge, Paul Millsap, Pau Gasol - Thoughts: Love is clear no.1 IMO. Griffen just beats Aldridge, just! Gasol still sneaks in, best passing big-man and averages a double double in points/rebounds. I just give Millsap #4 over Pau, just! Honourable mention to Dirk Nowitzki, just isn't top 5 anymore IMO

C: Dwight Howard, Andrew Bynum, Demarcus Cousins, Marc Gasol, Al Jefferson - Thoughts: No doubt the toughest line to pick 1 top 5 from! Honourable mentions to Roy Hibbert and Tyson Chandler. People don't realise how close Bynum is to Dwight either...

Really good list there Jayman, I agree with most of it.

With the small forwards there is a lot of options you could choose from as well. Do have a soft spot for Danny Granger.  :P

Great Work CJ Congratulations 8)

Rondo is a beast no doubt, agree with most of what u and Q said but bare in mind The East got significantly better in the offseason...

PG: CP3, Rondo, Rose, Dwill, Westbrook (Stephen Curry will enter the equation if his ankles hold up)
SG: Kobe, Wade, Joe Johnson, Ellis, Harden... (Klay Thompson will flourish this year)
SF: LBJ, Durant, Melo, Pierce, Gay... ( Luol Deng will have a career year with no Rose)
PF: Love, Dirk, P.Gasol, Griffin, Bosh (stacked position, 6-10 could easily contend with 1-5, interested to see how The Brow adapts)
C:  Howard (if healthy) Marc Gasol(amazing allround fundamentals) Bynum (could be amazing) Al Jefferson, DmC (could be amazing)
hopefully Bogut stays healthy this year, The Warriors could win a ton of games if their stars stay healthy, very interesting mix...

76ers with no Bynum or Thad Young knocked off The Cs minus JET http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400400545

Age does not matter if theyre still performing eg. i still have Pierce and KG top 5 @ their position. IMO I see us losing to Miami in the ECF in game 7. That isnt to say we dont have a chance to go all the way

nah i agree, but it significantly increases the chance of a breakdown, will be KG imo, he came good last year but he has some miles on that back and those knees... Rondo's ankles r a bit shaky too (3 big stints of missing games due to rolled ankles) plenty of guys on the bench that could breakout with more opportunity...

This ought to get Shaq's nose out of joint, why not just drop the position altogether?
