Whoah wonder what Valk reknz about this...http://www.oregonlive.com/nba/index.ssf/2012/10/nba_high-5_251.html

This is actually old on-going news.  The Maloofs (douches of thie highest calibre) have been trying to move the team out of Sacramento for a long time now.  They pretty much sabotaged the deal to build a new arena in Sacramento - the current Mayor of Sacramento (ex NBA player Kevin Johnson) has been bending over backwards to accomdate the Kings and the NBA to build a new arena.

The Maloofs have no money, which is why the Kings have had the lowest roster wage since Chris Webber retired and due to this we have been a lottery team ever since.  This same reason is why we are stuck with Geoff Petrie who is probably the lowest paid administrator in the league

The Maloofs need to sell the Kings to someone who is prepared to spend some money but they wont.

Boston 'deepest team in the league' Celtics signed Barbosa to a 1-year contract today.

Will be handy while we wait for the return of Bradley

Would really like the Lakers to actually win a pre-season game.  :P

Haha, your right.  :P

We get D-12 back and our stars will actually 'play.'

Kobe netted 31 last game I think.

Do you think the Celtics have the pieces to challenge this year?  ???

Wouldn't be a true Celtic fan if i didn't think we could challenge ;)

I mean look how deep we are:

PG: Rajon Rondo (enough said) / Jason Terry (proven 6th man of the year)

SG: Avery Bradley (regarded as the best SG defender and one of the best on-ball defenders in the league) / Courney Lee (better 3pt % than Ray last 2 seasons) / Leandro Barbosa (talk about instant offense)

SF: Paul Pierce (enough said) / Jeff Green (high draft pick, look for a break-out season subbing in for tired Paul, really rate this guy)

PF: Jared Sullinger (regarded as the steal of the draft, was considered a top 5 pick until back injury crept in, was a steal at pick 21 and shown no signs of back trouble in Boston) / Brandon Bass (solid performer, should improve yet again this season, maybe a M.I.P contendor)

C: Kevin Garnett (enough said) / Darko Milicic (yes the spud that got drafted in front of Wade, still got a ring before Lebron though :P handy role player)

w0w Jayman r u a Collingwood supporter too? certainly one eyed ;) Celtics r like mid range imo

The Nuggets r the deepest team in the NBA, athletic, fast and will play an exciting brand of basketball...

Jay

lol nah im not a Collingwood supporter Marcz :P Just a very passionate Celtic man!

But don't have to be one-eyed to realise that Boston will again be contendors...

Jay

a preseason statement Jayman :P

tbh even the first half of the NBA season isnt overly intense, things start heating up after the allstar break ;)

ive invested a last rd pick in Courtney Lee in snake drafts if im short of steals, 3s and %s, bit of a smokey that could pay off...

or be dropped in the first week ;D hey sportsbet r offering 1.87 on the C to go over or under 50.5 wins this season, im on the under...

Master Q

I'd say we won't easily make the GF, but we made it the Semi's this year and lost to the eventual winners in Miami. Sure we lost Ray Allen, but tbh he wasn't even playing that great. KG and Peirce are underrated and I just see Rondo getting better and better.
