End of game 6 Lebron had 2 turnovers and bricked a clutch three. Imagine if they didnt get the next rebound. I would be hammering into Lebron for being a choker once again, but luckily for him he got a second crack. Q, what more does he have to do to prove his clutchness?

Here's my reasoning... I hate it when people say Rondo got no J. That statement is true a few seasons ago but he has worked on it and it is much better now. Same with Lebron, he did the biggest choke in sports history in 2011. But now he has proved himself I aint gonna hold him back for a weakness in his game that isnt there now.

I have respect for LeBron's game, but to me he didn't really prove that he was any more clutch than last season. Andre Miller made a much tougher lay-up against GSW than LeBron did.

That jumper he hit was a great one, he's done it before but I wouldn't go as far as saying

b]Lebron James is one of the clutchest players in the league[/b]

You're just trying to make up for all your LeBron hate you've posted in this thread  ::)

Jay

No when I hate on Lebron it has been 100% called for. And I'll hate on him again when he does something wrong. Doesn't mean I shouldn't admit I was wrong about the clutch thing.

If u dont think that was clutch Q the majority of people would believe u dont know what clutch is :-X

Its time for me to say this... Lebron James is one of the clutchest players in the league

Wow, that was hard :'( but I watched the man score 16 points in Q4 of game 6, hit a 3 to send it to OT and hit a jumper to seal the championship. What more can he do to make me change my opinion, probably nothing. He did it all :'(

DOESNT MEAN I LIKE THE DEVIL WOSHIPPING ARROGANT SHOWER! But hey thats a good start right?

Agreed, my respect for Jayman multiplied tenfold, not bcos of the opinion he now has, but bcos he had the courage to change his opinion knowing full well he would hear all about it 8)

Ya know what I thought the most clutch thing Lebron did these playoffs? Not the buzzer-beater, not the 3 and not the jumper.

At the start of Q4 of game 6, I said to my mate... "This quarter is going to define Lebron's legacy"

He came out and scored 16 in the 4th dragging his team back in it. That is the second best I have ever seen Lebron play. First being game 6 ECF @ Boston. I still have nightmares.

16 in the 4th in a 'back against the wall' situation is as clutch as you can get. More than a big shot here or there.

gossiboy

I was gonna write something long here to sum up the season but stuff it.

Game 6-7 were two of the best games you'll ever see but games 2-5 were pretty average.

Huge props to the way Tim and the rest of the Spurs handled the loss, truly epitomised class.

Lebron deserved 2nd championship, came up huge when he was needed. D-WADE 3 TIME CHAMPIONS BABY.

Also; JUWAN HOWARD 2-TIME CHAMPION BABY.

He just willed us back into Game 6, he scored most of those buckets at the rim bcos the jumper wasnt falling and he made do...

Game 7 he had it all going, every bucket started or finished with him, on the defensive end... well ask TP9 im sure he will give him dap

down to 2 "must win" games at home, let the fairy tale begin...

Ive been refraining from talking basketball since this ::) post, sometimes im superstitious, in this case very much so...

Jayman, to ur credit u keep swinging punches, Steve Javie (26yrs exp) said they wernt fouls at the end of game 6, nuf said imo

Game 7 actually topped Game 6, best game of basketball ive ever seen, both teams played their hearts out at an amazing intensity...

Crazy series in the end, loved it all, even the coaching battles, Pop is such an intricate coach, made a couple of blunders at critical moments then took the whole team out for dinner afterwards just help let go of the game and heal mentally thru sticking together, the way he confused LeBron with different defenders until he started to figure it out, only to then bring in a new defender playing him differently, at every point we/he looked like getting a roll on he squashed it with quick timeouts and a new challenge for LeBron to keep him out of rhythmand off balance, it saved The Spurs so many points throughout the series, which is why it was LeBron's best game ever, he did everything the team needed when it was most needed, extremely happy for him to do it in that fashion bcos it cant be disputed that he carried this team against a great team and came up massive in the biggest pressure game of the season.

Chumps ur clearly a true Spurs fan, post game comments from u and The Spurs show a ton of class. RESPECT!
Man, you summed everything up perfectly. Best game Lebron's played. I'd love to see how many points he actually scored in the paint; That 'weakness' of a jumper was excellent.
Amazing series. Falling further and further in love with Basketball, and who wouldn't after that?

Cheers for the shout out too man!

Some players take no pride in the way they conduct themselves but The Spurs have always as a whole been the pinnacle of maintaining a high standard of decorum, the hardest time to be strong is when ur hurting the most, its an admirable quality i regard highly, the embraces after the game were refreshing, nothing but smiles and respect, no bad blood 8)

The games were coached in a way that a battle within the battle became prevalent, i really felt like i had a finger on the pulse of both coaches, they both really influenced games, even tho Miami won i thought Pop out coached Spo for longer periods as Spo would try to let The Heat play thru a Spurs run which he eventually learnt wasnt a gamble worth taking, Pops ability to steal momentum just as Miami were about too explode was phenomenal/frustrating he was playing my emotions like a conductor, roller coaster ride that made me sick to my stomach and i could hardly sit still, the way the series unfolded was like it was written by a creative team, flash and smarts in the early games and then a crescendo of will and determination to finish, my heart was bleeding for Duncan as much as i was relieved for my team!

Jay

Seeing Duncan miss the hookshot that woulda tied the game with under a minute to go makes me sick every time I watch it.

Just feel so bad for TD, that deserved to drop - that was just cruel. Could see in his eyes how much that hurt him.

Makes me feel emotional for the greatest PF to ever play this game.

My Chumps

When asked whether leading by 5 points with 28 seconds left in Game 6 would haunt him Timmy said this:

"For me, no. Game 7, missing a layup to tie the game,"

"Making a bad decision down the stretch. Just unable to stop Dwyane [Wade] and LeBron [James]. Probably, for me, Game 7 is always going to haunt me."

:'(

RiOtChEsS

Imo it was the level of pressure as the time was winding down, u could see everyone getting a bit tighter, for me it wasnt even the layup he missed bcos he puts it up softly routinely then follows an tips it home, he had Battier on him who was never going to out bound him, but he rushed at the tip back rather than his usual cool calm soft touch Timmy...
