Duncan came on in the 2nd and has been working the Heat over in the post.

Spurs did an awesome job of filling LeBron's driving lanes and forcing him to pass, only thing that surprised me was he didnt get into the post much and he didnt try to "take over"

I knew we would lose a game at home, shocked it was game 1 but this team loves feeling like an underdog, playing from behind...

Honestly not worried... YET :P

Holz you do realise that Pierce is like 35 while Lebron is in his prime? Prime PP is clutcher than Lebron is or ever has been.

Spurs, did I not call it? Duncan is now 8-0 in game 1's of series after having at least a week break.

Spurs were always gonna win game 1, its game 2 that will tell a hell of a lot. Spurs win that and its bye bye 18 point Lebron James.

Lebron was probably more clutch at Cleveland than he is now. I have stats from 06-10 where pierce was 27-32 so in prime and Lebron was a rookie player and he was still more clutch

Talking about clutch, I think Tony Parker showed he has 'the gene' today. 10 in the last quarter including the sealer.

I think you confuse 'being the better player' with 'lifting game in the clutch'

Watch a Celtics game, our clutch offence runs through PP and it has done for ages. He comes through more often than not - he lifts more than Lebron does.

Pierce 30+ game-winners...

Cicjose

every time Tony Parker drove to the basket Mario Chalmers was there to look like a statue

the only time Cole was beaten by Parker he had to let him through
because had he moved to block Parker his feet would have been moving and
he would have taken the contact in the restricted area

Agreed pierce lifts more but that's because he has a lower base. Easier to go from a 7 to an 8 than a 8 to an 8.5

Jay

I never ever ever said Pierce > Lebron. I always said he lifts in the clutch whereas Lebron doesn't.

Lol at only 18 points for Lebron today. Miami needed an aggresive scorer to close the game not a triple double.
