Holz, have you noticed that Ray is acually not very good anymore?

Wade is probably Miami's clutchest ever.

And dont be an idiot Holz, if Pierce + KG were not so loyal they would have at least 2 rings. Ray should not be rewarded for a dog act. I have heard rumours of him coming back to Boston :o better not... Does not deserve to retire a Celtic.

you wanted the numbers for Lebron Clutch and all the shots.

this article does it for me. compares Jordan to Lebron in the clutch and while I have never argued Lebron is more clutch than jordan I have always stated he is super clutch. Read the whole article without hater glasses and see what you think.

Jay

How about you watch the 2011 Finals with your Lebron fanboy glasses off?

I just dont think my 'lazy fixed eyes' will ever see a stat to make me forget Lebron choking in the biggest moment of his career.

I will never consider him clutch after that. That series is imprinted into my mind wheras his gamewinners I could count on my left hand.

As he checks out...LeBron James in four career Game 7's...33.8 ppg.
The highest Game 7 scoring average in @NBA history. (At least 2gp)

And a piece of trivia for everyone, how many of Jordans 6 rings went to 7 in the finals?

Cicjose

the last i checked it was 0?

Jay

Yep, 0!

Hmm maybe I might organize a trivia session one of these nights. Stay tuned.

Mat0369

Yup, 0 is correct. I think from memory it is 3 game 7's in his entire career.

Jay

Off the top of my head there were a few 6 game finals series. Bulls vs Charles Barkley was a great one and of course the two series vs Utah.

5 of his 6 rings he won in 6. The only one in 5 was against the Lakers for his first.

bahaha Jayman i swear u hang on to the 11 Finals like a child does his teddy bear, that was the biggest moment of his career at the time bigger moments have since come... gone, and opportunity knocks again, im not stating he will but, if he continues to play at this level and fill his hand with rings at some point ur gonna need a new subject to hate on...

Like Rondo winning a title when he isnt Alfred, let alone Bat Girl, Robin or Batman :D

I cant believe u dropped the Batman line :D ur trolling like Skip Bayliss ;D

Terrible series but really how much can you harp on it. Look at the other 99.5% of his career. He was super clutch at Cleveland and in the last 2 years with heat.

For his stage in his career he is right up the top of all time with game winners. Stats all point to it, I just don't understand how people can look at the numbers and not say clutch just doesn't make sense.

I disagree, Lebron has not had a bigger moment than the 2011 finals. He decided to leave Cleveland to get a championship, he had the best supporting cast of any superstar in the league yet he froze. You could argue last years finals he had more pressure on him but I think people were really looking out for his first season after leaving. And last season was just ridiculous - everything fell into place. Battier and Mike Miller? You kidding me?

The question is, is this finals series bigger than '11? Of course not... He owed it to everyone to get the champ straight away, that was the biggest moment of his career hence why I judge him on that. Average of 3points in Q4 of 2011 Finals :P

And Rondo led the league in steals thankyou very much, he was no scrub when we won the title. While you brought up Rondo, you saw first hand the guy take his game to a whole new level during the playoffs last season. #fortyfourtenandeight

If worst comes to worst I can just hate on Lebron for his flopping or maybe his hairline :P

"The best Robin of all time is playing in the NBA today. Lebron James" - Skip Bayless. The legend.

It's a shame he doesn't lift when it counts. Nearly 34 with the series on the line  imagine if he was clutch.
