If Rondo had the scoring ability of Durant he would be unstoppable.
No one in the world over the last 3 years has had the scoring ability of KD ::)

Anyone remember this game? Rondo can score... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndyfsS0bFK8

the only person worse than Rondo at Free Throw shooting is Dwight Howard :P

not saying it hasnt improved at all, it has but it isnt consistent enough to put him in the upper echelon conversation

Master Q

Rondo for MVP! I can see him getting 10+ every game easily, and he gets a 15+ assist game like every 5 games.

woo :D I can realistically see him breaking the 30ast record

Windigo

For Rondo to win the MVP he would have to put up Nash like numbers.

Nash MVP 2005-2006:

.921 % free throw, .439 from down town, field goal of .512

4.2 boards, 10.5 assists, .8 steals & 18.8 points.

Looking over Rondo's last season they are very similar. Nash has a better field goal %, 3-pt % & I think the killer is Rondo's point scoring average.  :-\

History tells us he needs to be "The Best Player" on a team that "Wins 60+ Games or Has Top Seed" both r debatable

They r getting flogged by Detroit right now ;D

Windigo

Eww, Detroit.  :P

Meanwhile....Bryant nearly notched a first-half triple-double, racking up 11 points, seven rebounds and nine assists in just 20 minutes, beast mode.  8)

RiOtChEsS

He got it, so did Durant, his first triple double of his career

Jay

What a flowering horrible day, Detroit? Really?

Anyway, Rondo keeps his streak alive >:D

Good win for Detroit, but Celtics should really be beating them TBH.

Was Mike Brown really that bad a coach, with the interim coach going 4/5 it may look like it.  :P

Jay

Jared Sullinger is really starting to lift his game and showing why he was the biggest steal of the draft.

On Sunday he had 11 and 10 off the bench and today had 16 and 5. getting it done on boards and the scoreboard

they fired him bcos the schedule was getting easier, they knew they would win most of the next games and it would be harder to give him the @$$, obviously long term they wernt keen and fired him at the most opportune moment

Have seen quite a few Laker fans bragging about Kobe's triple double. I mean seriosuly, Rondo has had more triple doubles than him in 10 less seasons!
