How about you watch the 2011 Finals with your Lebron fanboy glasses off?

I just dont think my 'lazy fixed eyes' will ever see a stat to make me forget Lebron choking in the biggest moment of his career.

I will never consider him clutch after that. That series is imprinted into my mind wheras his gamewinners I could count on my left hand.

Terrible series but really how much can you harp on it. Look at the other 99.5% of his career. He was super clutch at Cleveland and in the last 2 years with heat.

For his stage in his career he is right up the top of all time with game winners. Stats all point to it, I just don't understand how people can look at the numbers and not say clutch just doesn't make sense.
So the biggest series of his career accounts for 0.5%? If I am a sportsman then I want to be judged on bow I perform in the biggest moments the sport has to offer e.g. I would rather kick 6 goals in a GF rather than 10 against GWS. It means squat.

See, I may harp on about it too much but you forget it ever happened.

Holz can I please see Lebron stats on walk off shots? Or as some call them, buzzer beaters. I would guess around 5...

The greatests of all time dont need game 7. If only MJ was not as good... Then he could hold the record for ppg in game 7s too... Pity he did not need them. Stats on close out games would be more fitting.

bahaha Jayman i swear u hang on to the 11 Finals like a child does his teddy bear, that was the biggest moment of his career at the time bigger moments have since come... gone, and opportunity knocks again, im not stating he will but, if he continues to play at this level and fill his hand with rings at some point ur gonna need a new subject to hate on...

Like Rondo winning a title when he isnt Alfred, let alone Bat Girl, Robin or Batman :D

I cant believe u dropped the Batman line :D ur trolling like Skip Bayliss ;D
I disagree, Lebron has not had a bigger moment than the 2011 finals. He decided to leave Cleveland to get a championship, he had the best supporting cast of any superstar in the league yet he froze. You could argue last years finals he had more pressure on him but I think people were really looking out for his first season after leaving. And last season was just ridiculous - everything fell into place. Battier and Mike Miller? You kidding me?

The question is, is this finals series bigger than '11? Of course not... He owed it to everyone to get the champ straight away, that was the biggest moment of his career hence why I judge him on that. Average of 3points in Q4 of 2011 Finals :P

And Rondo led the league in steals thankyou very much, he was no scrub when we won the title. While you brought up Rondo, you saw first hand the guy take his game to a whole new level during the playoffs last season. #fortyfourtenandeight

If worst comes to worst I can just hate on Lebron for his flopping or maybe his hairline :P

"The best Robin of all time is playing in the NBA today. Lebron James" - Skip Bayless. The legend.

Mmm u just proved my point by sticking to that, its the only thing u can hold against him, so u call it the biggest moment of his career, talk about getting stuck in the past...

Rondo was the 4th best player on that team hence Batman>Robin>Bat Girl>Alfred(Rondo)

Think il create a heel persona in regards to my opinion of Rondo, bcos u love him so much, and quite frankly if u can make a case for down playing LeBron i could certainly nail down Rondo who can do like what two things and play one position :P

has played 115 playoff games for a career playoff record of 8.7 RPG 6.7 APG 1.7 SPG 28.5 PPG thats pretty darn good.

10/11 was his most hyped series by the media doesnt mean its his biggest series.

How about these

06/07

dragged his team into the finals with the best 3 players in the team LeBron James, Larry Hughes, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, thats one of the worst supporting casts for a star I have ever seen.

this was probably one of the bigggest carries of all time, they got swept in the finals series but making the finals with a terrible squad and a 22 year old as your best player is amazing.

Still went 8.1 RPG 8.0 APG 25.1 PPG in the playoffs.

08/09

now this is an amazing season. He did have a better supporting cast this time illgukas "old' Wallace, delonte west and mo williams however it was by no means a good supporting cast.

led them to 66-16 season and brought them to the ECF with an amzing playoff series

9.1 RPG 7.3 APG 35.3 PPG trully amazing considering his lackluster team. He either scored or assisted in on average 50-55 points per game.

11/12 the real biggest series of his life, so far..

This time he did have good support around him but he put up MVP numbers to win the finals MVP

9.7 RPG 5.6 APG 1.9 SPG 30.3 PPG

he got the board of a PF/C
the assits of a point guard
the steals of a top defensive guard
the points of a pure shooter.

from one man.

Holz I am not doubting him as a player, I asked for Lebron buzzer beater stats. Because clutchness is 1 of 2 things I question about Lebron - the other being FT shooting and sometimes jumpshot. (inb4 Rondo comment)

Yes, that is my kind of debate Marcz - lets talk Rondo! If you want I can show you stats proving that Rondo has one of the best midrange jumpshots at the point guard spot. At one point this season or last, only Bosh had a better midrange %, minimum of x amount of shots of course.

Rondo is a top 5 passer of all time. He holds the equal second longest streak of 10+ assists... That is pretty incredible when you consider he can pull down 15 boards or go off for 40 points. He plays lockdown defense and is half of the best defensive backcourt in the league.

No point guard can put up 18, 17 and 18 or 44, 10 and 8... How about 24 assists too! I like unique player and I cant see anyone putting up those numbers? Have to go back to Wilt and the big O.

Guess who has had the most trip dubs over the last 3 seasons, Rajon Rondo! Missed half this season too.
