Okay so i started the season with Adcock and he scored decently to begin with and now he has really tapered off. I know they say don't trade out premiums, but just watching him play, he doesn't get around the ball enough and is always worried about his opponent more than picking up possessions. So i was thinking of swapping him to Waters which will cost me around 40k, before Waters' price skyrockets after his last few performances.

Thoughts? btw this won't hurt my bye structure.

Should be okay to me. I was thinking about Adcock from the start of the year, but seeing his scores, they aren't very pretty most of the time. Waters is gunning it so i reckon its worth the trade, especially if you have 16+. Also how bout Lake(if you don't have him of course). Up to you but just giving another option. But if you have other holes  to fix then i'd recommend doing that and just stick with adcock.

Murphy's Law. If you trade him out then he'll turn it around and Waters will get injured.

I'm sure you could find trades that would net you more points than doing that one.

well so far my team is pretty much complete, with coniglio and horsley my only rookies left in mids. and i need to make one more upgrade in def, with ellis, spurr and guthrie competing for D7 spot atm.

and yeah i guess lake is an option, I've just never liked him to much seeing as he could be needed for a big shutdown and could really hurt his scoring. waters just racks it up mopping up the mess at the back and never gets tagged

Adcock is so inconsistent.  >:(

I'd go Lake.  ;)

why do you say lake over waters? isn't better to have someone who is running off the half back than a KPP. i know is somewhat an exception to this rule....and i guess whenever morris returns, lake could see higher scores more consistently but idk its hard to trade in a KPP.

also correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the doggies have one of the hardest draws from here on in? or is it the other way around?

I say that because he has smashed 3 tons in a row and a low score of 70 odd excluding his first game.

LOL its so true. went back and looked at this post that i forgot all about. Waters got suspended and Adcock went on to average like 96 over his past 4 games. Ohh how i love dream team sometimes haha!
