When Mourinho comes back to England it will be to manage United. That is pretty much set in stone

It's not something he has said recently but when he left England he said he would like to replace SAF :)

Ahh righto. Fair play. Who needs Mourinho when you have RDM (and I guess SAF goes alright too...)

Cicjose

i would have thought that Steve Bruce would be the first call made if SAF retires?

What has SAF said about this? pretty sure he would want to keep going til he is 100.

Not a chance. He hasn't really shown any ability that would make him a good manager at United, except for the fact he used to play for them. But then again so did a lot of managers such as Mark Hughes so doesn't help his cause at all.

i mean obviously the fact that Bruce is still coaching and was a good United striker would count towards his appointment if SAF said that he quit suddenly.......

but there would need to be no world class managers available for Bruce to get considered for the job

Why don't Liverpool be a good club and hire another legend of the club, eg Rush, Carragher, Gerrard as player/manager?
