What are your thoughts on who should take over?

My preferences are: AVB or Capello

Luigi197

As a Chelsea supporter I would'nt really care that much, but i don't see them as a threat! ;)

TTBH I wouldn't want Pep or Capello there, as they are too good for them, and might hurt Chelsea's hopes next year!
I wouldn't mind AVB getting another crack at the EPL actually.

Pep wont be coaching anyone this year luigi. He has already stated he is taking a year out of football, and when he returns he may not even return in a managerial role!

Jukes

Just hoping they get somebody that flowers them up more then they already are!

See Roy Hodgson 2.0

Give AVB another crack IMO!! Surely he has learnt now that cleaning out anyone over 25 is a little drastic for such huge clubs.
I think Cappello is more likely though :(

I dont think having a good last 10 games after almost relegating your club warrants you superstar managerial status

If Newcastle can finish 5th 2 seasons after being promoted, Wigan should at least finish mid table for him to be a decent manager

Cicjose

newcastle have a lot more fans and more money than Wigan tho BS...........

yeah i totally understand where you got that from, but for some reason i dont believe that Pep was saying the truth when he said that.

Look at Wigans financial state and quality of players though... Martinez has done a good job for them. I personally wouldn't mind him or AVB managing us.
Pep was always a pipe dream.
Jose' Mourinio signing a new contract  :-\
Capello seems  :-X
Rafa Benitez back again? I wouldn't mind that at all...

When Mourinho comes back to England it will be to manage United. That is pretty much set in stone
