LH just contacted me on fb saying he cant get onto ff atm, and probably wont be able to until tomorrow night at the earliest so he just told me to give you heads up

if you want something to hold you up though

Essendon are playing GWS
and Carlton are playing melbourne

so basically, if for some reason you have a Judd or Gibbs, maybe even Scotland sitting in your team, they could all be viable options. Gibbs has had a poor season, but with murph out should be relegated to a midfield role
Judds averaging 106 from his last 2, and 100 for the season, including a 59 vs fremantle, where from memory he got injured?
While Scotlands averaging 100 as well, he hasn't really pulled out any massive captaincy option material as of yet this season. That being said he monsters the Dees historically, while Judds a little average against them (although both have pretty solid averages in the last couple of years).

From Essendon obvious choices are Watson and Stanton. I would say Heppell as well, but his forms been down recently.
Stanton- Has a 3 game average over 150 and as everyone knows has been beasting it this season as the comps top scorer
Watson- Has only scored under 100 once this season, is averaging 116, and has a 127 three game average.

Both of those boys should machine it.

a smokie would be Ebert vs GC I suppose average 104 this year with a 3 round average of 101.

Rockliff- average 95 vs NM, scoring over 130 twice against them, and a 3 game average of 123 against them, he should be safe enough, but his form recently has been pretty up and down. That being said, who can contain him from north?

Sidebottom- 3 round average 122, average of 110, averages 104 vs Adelaide (his best), I think he has to be considered.

Deledio- Average 115, 3 round 124, only scored under 100 once, coming off aq mammoth 160, averages 95 against hawthorn, 2nd best after GC. Should also be a safe bet considering season form.

Boyd: Season average 121, last three 128, but has a shocking average vs geelong- although with ling gone that might change? I;d probably hold of C for today.

Pendlebury- Season average 117, last three 128, average vs adelaide- 95, doesnt really pull out the big ones, should probably avoid.

Scott Thomspon- Season average 117, last three 129, one score under 100, avg vs collingwood- 85. Thompsons having a blinder this year, but his high score vs the pies is just 113- he's generally very consistent in the 100 odds, but pass.

Ablett- average 127, last three 107, average against port adelaide- 90. Abletts last 4 against PA have been a 133, 148, 127 and an 83. That's solid enough, I'd consider him for captaincy... imo will be used mostly in the midfield once again, should be close to peak fitness.

So rankings:
Stanton
Watson
Sidebottom
Deledio
Ablett
Rockliff

that should keep you happy enough. It's not as good as Lh's, but dont dog.

*edit* Just noticed the mistype in the title, was not on purpose, but thought it was fitting for this write up :P

Mr.Craig

I think I'll be going Watson. For some reason I don't like putting the C on players when they have games at AAMI so I wont consider Pendles this week. Plus the Crows are redhot. As noted, Boyd might be a little risky.

Lids, Ablett, Stanton, Mitchell, Thompson and possibly Rockliff should be set for decent 110+ scores this weekend.

Justin Bieber

Really not sure who to put as C

Thinking just getting Gary in this week just so I can use the big C on him  :-\

I'm seriously considering sidebottom :P

Shihan7

Not sure between Ablett, Lids and Sidebottom

Sidebottom has been very impressive but i havent got the scrotum to fit the big balls in required to do this.

I think ill go safe with the Ablett.

Last week it seemed as if the Crows had 40 players on the field. I think a strong argument can be made for Collingwood being a harder working team than Carlton but if Adelaide continue with the same level of pressure then Sidey will have his work cut out.

I have an important game this week so I need to choose the right captain.  Not even going to say who my shortlist is because my opponent lurks these forums, and I don't want him knowing what I'm thinking. :P
