ADELAIDE
With Adelaide's injury list remaining incredibly short this week, it's hard to see any changes being made to the side that beat Carlton by 69 points at the weekend. Bernie Vince slotted back into the side as if he hadn't missed a game and David Mackay will be ready to take on Collingwood despite a corked back. The Crows are currently enjoying great depth with most players not selected in the senior side continuing to perform at SANFL level. Richard Douglas was great for Glenelg, kicking four goals, as was Jarryd Lyons, who picked up 29 disposals and 11 clearances. Brad Symes, Brodie Martin, Andy Otten all had big games, as did former Swan Lewis Johnston, who booted five goals for North Adelaide.
-Harry Thring

BRISBANE LIONS
Fresh from a 92-point rout of GWS, and with no injury concerns from the match, Michael Voss will be loath to make changes for Sunday's clash against North Melbourne. Look for veteran ruckman Ben Hudson to come in for rookie Billy Longer to take on big-bodied Kangaroos' duo Hamish McIntosh and Todd Goldstein. Ryan Harwood is also in the frame if the Lions decide to rotate their midfielders.
-Michael Whiting

CARLTON
Marc Murphy will be a long-term absentee after undergoing shoulder surgery following his clash with Adelaide's Patrick Dangerfield, while Lachie Henderson and Nick Duigan also struggled to run out that game. Jarrad Waite (back) missed that match and is considered unlikely against Melbourne. Josh Bootsma was named in the best players for the Northern Blues and is a chance to play his second game, while Kane Lucas and Brock McLean will also come into consideration.
-Jason Phelan

COLLINGWOOD
The Pies will need to make a few changes this week with Dane Swan (hamstring) and Ben Reid (quad) out for a fortnight. Chris Tarrant won't be one of them with Nathan Buckley ruling him out on Tuesday, while Paul Seedsman (concussion) and Luke Rounds (calf) aren't available this week and Jackson Paine (ankle) won't play for two after hurting his ankle the weekend before last in the VFL. Tom Young, Jamie Elliot, Cameron Wood and Kirk Ugle impressed in the VFL side's loss to Bendigo on Saturday.
-Jennifer Witham

ESSENDON
The Bombers appear likely to swing a few changes this week after their win over Richmond. Dustin Fletcher (adductor) could miss Saturday's clash with Greater Western Sydney, while Kyle Hardingham (calf) and Courtenay Dempsey (shoulder) could also be forced out. Coach James Hird indicated a couple more players were battling soreness, but a blessing for the Bombers is great depth. Mark McVeigh, Travis Colyer, Kyle Reimers and Tayte Pears all played well in the VFL on the weekend, while Scott Gumbleton and Alex Browne got through their return to football from long-term injuries unscathed.
-Callum Twomey

Fremantle
Adam McPhee (calf) is expected to return against West Coast after missing one match, but Ross Lyon has forecast further changes to his team after an "embarrassing" loss to Hawthorn. The coach indicated he will reward players giving their all in the WAFL, bringing defender Alex Silvagni and small forward Michael Walters into contention. Walters is back in full training and booted three goals for Swan Districts at the weekend, while Silvagni was excellent in defence for Claremont. Nick Suban pressed his claims with a polished performance for the Tigers.
-Nathan Schmook

GEELONG
The Cats are hoping to bring back champion defender Matthew Scarlett, who has been sidelined for two weeks with thigh and ankle injuries. But Allen Christensen (calf) has already been ruled out of Friday night's clash with the Western Bulldogs. The best players in Geelong's VFL team last weekend were George Horlin-Smith and Jed Bews.
-Adam McNicol

GOLD COAST
The Suns have no players coming back from its injury list, but coach Guy McKenna is likely to make one or two changes for Saturday's home match against Port Adelaide. Mav Weller starred in the reserves last week and must be close to a recall. Dumped pair Jared Brennan and Trent McKenzie failed to impress in the twos and appear unlikely to gain a reprieve.
-Michael Whiting

GREATER WESTERN SYDNEY
The Giants line-up is a revolving door most weeks and that will again prove the case this round as they continue their policy of rotating their youngsters. Dylan Shiel, Tom Bugg and Devon Smith are all likely to return this week to take on Essendon, while Toby Greene has been suspended. No.1 NAB AFL Draft pick Jon Patton was named among the reserves' best as he continues his progress from knee surgery. He was listed alongside Curtly Hampton, Shaun Edwards and pick No.7 in last year's draft Nick Haynes, who must be nearing his senior debut.
-James Dampney

HAWTHORN
Not too many changes likely at the Hawks after an even performance in the 56-point win over Fremantle last week. Xavier Ellis was the travelling emergency for the trip to Launceston, having recovered from a calf injury. Jack Gunston booted seven goals for Box Hill to press his claims for a recall, and Tom Murphy and Tom Schneider continue to impress at VFL level.
-Mark Macgugan

MELBOURNE
Melbourne can't take a trick, losing Liam Jurrah to an ankle injury with just 45 seconds of last Saturday's game remaining. It means at least one change will be forced-Ricky Petterd looks the logical replacement- but expect more as many in the team played without spirit on Saturday. Complicating matters was the bye to Casey Scorpions, which means many of the Demons senior list did not play a game on the weekend. Tom Couch-son of Brownlow medallist Paul-has been in good form and elevating someone to make a debut might provide a boost in morale. Although out of form, Rohan Bail always gives effort while Matthew Bate and Lynden Dunn provide hard bodies around the stoppage and have a dip. Stefan Martin's unpredictability would be useful and he is ready to go after one game in the VFL.
-Peter Ryan

NORTH MELBOURNE
North's disappointing loss to Port Adelaide and the good form of its players in the VFL last weekend means changes are likely for its clash with the Brisbane Lions this Sunday. The leading selection contenders include midfielders Liam Anthony and Cruize Garlett, who had 33 and 31 possessions respectively for North Ballarat last Saturday. If coach Brad Scott decides he needs another marking option in his forward line, Werribee pair Lachlan Hansen (three goals and 13 marks) and Robbie Tarrant (four goals and 11 marks) will be strongly considered after starring for the Tigers last Saturday. Ruckman Hamish McIntosh is also a chance to return after missing last round with a knee injury.
-Nick Bowen

PORT ADELAIDE
Buoyed by its incredible last-minute win against North Melbourne, the Power are unlikely to alter their side too much, especially given they got through the contest injury free. Forward John Butcher is expected to remain in the side to face Gold Coast despite only managing two kicks last weekend. His possible replacement, Daniel Stewart, kicked two goals for North Adelaide and David Rodan again pushed for senior selection with a commanding 28-disposal game for Norwood. Ruckman Matthew Lobbe took another step in his rehabilitation from injury with 20 hit-outs and Tom Logan was a standout for Glenelg.
-Harry Thring

RICHMOND
The Tigers have a record this season of making as few changes as possible. Although they must look at selecting a replacement for key defender Dylan Grimes, who was one of the feel good stories of the season before tearing his hamstring against Essendon, they might just give more responsibility to those players already playing in defence. Jake Batchelor might step up from being the third tall defender to being the second tall defender, giving him most likely the assignment on Jarryd Roughead. Ben Griffiths, who was named among the best in Coburg Tigers' loss to Williamstown, is the most likely to come in if the Tigers do go for a replacement for Grimes. Tyrone Vickery is likely to be selected if he comes up from his calf injury
-Paul Daffey

ST KILDA
James Gwilt and Sam Fisher were both very close to making their returns from injury last week but the Saints took a conservative option and gave them another week. Both should be back to take on the Swans, while Raphael Clarke and Adam Schneider impressed for Sandringham last week and will also be in contention for a recall. Daniel Archer's four goals may push his case to boost the Saints' big man stocks.
-Luke Holmesby

SYDNEY SWANS
The Swans had a different look against Melbourne, with Tommy Walsh joining Trent Dennis-Lane in the forward line and Mike Pyke taking over the No.1 rucking duties. Following a 101-point win, it will be hard for coach John Longmire to make too many changes. There is pressure coming from the reserves, however, with Matt Spangher and Mitch Morton showing good signs up forward. Father-son recruit Tom Mitchell is also inching closer to an AFL debut, finishing with 35 touches, six marks and kicking a goal in the seconds last week.
-James Dampney

WEST COAST
Key midfielder Matt Priddis is expected to recover from lingering concussion and return for Sunday's western derby after missing one match. The clearance specialist should be joined by Adam Selwood (hand), who was subbed out against St Kilda. Small forward Ashton Hams is available after serving a two-match suspension, while Tom Swift (34 disposals) pushed his case in the WAFL. Defender Ash Smith returned from an ankle injury with Perth but was quiet.
-Nathan Schmook

WESTERN BULLDOGS
Adam Cooney is likely to return for Friday night’s big clash with Geelong at Etihad Stadium after missing the past two matches with swelling to his troublesome knee. The 2008 Brownlow medallist will undergo a fitness test on Thursday but moved well at training on Tuesday morning. Brodie Moles and Christian Howard also submitted their cases for selection after being among Williamstown's best in the VFL. Meanwhile, Nathan Djerrkura is unlikely to return after quad tightness kept him out last week.
-Ben Collins

Crows are dominating, that's why  ;D

Problems

Sounds like PtA's Lobbe might push Redden down the team's ruck pecking order, is it time to jump on to Leeroy Jenkins for all owners of Redden that we're relying on him as bye cover?

Jenkins has the same bye as Giles, Cox, Hmac, Longer and Jacobs so it makes it hard for coaches.
Would be an ideal downgrade if he didn't share this bye

I haven't had time to do a detailed reserves report this week but i've added a bit more info that the In The Mix Report missed out for DT relevant players.

Good to see A.Hall in the best for Gold Coast

Will be first in if Rutten, Talia or Henderson suffer from injury/loss of form. Is playing solidly in the SANFL, as are Kerridge, Martin, Lyons, Tambling, Symes etc.....just no way in to the starting 22 at the moment.

Ricochet

just saw this on twitter too

GWS Giants ‏@GWS_Giants
"Jonathon Patton will be back for the Richmond game and we can't wait to see him run out there" @Kevin_Sheedy

After GWS round 11 bye

Don't tell anyone, but there is talk tha Sexton might get dropped this week.

On other news, Hall being 4th best means nothing.

Weller will come back and Josh Fraser might do as well. But I doubt Hall will get a call-up :'(
