I get in the same situation some times, but you have to take a step back and plan your team.  Pick the best options in each category and aim to get them at particular times.  Eg. Scotland in a week or so.

Also plan the players you'll have out - most likely your rookies.  Because by season's end you do not want to be fielding you 1st year rookies. 

Plan properly and get premo's in (or at least some experience) so that come finals, you have trades and a team that you can get a decent score consistently.

If your trade low.  You have to play the stock market a little bit and take a few risks.  Gia?

I want to bring him into my mids for the DPP link, but that means downgrading Greene or Coniglio.  Or I could get rid of Hall and forget about the DPP.

I don't have him because my team is going to plan.  But if I had only 10-12 trades left.  Every dollar becomes extra important and you have to take educated risks.  I'd put his experience and consistency into the calculated risk category.

I want to get Zorko into my mids because then I can sub him around with Dangerfield, Sidebottom, Harvey, Treloar, Smith or Adams during the bye so I can always assist my mids with my forwards. Should I downgrade Jmac leaving heaps in the bank for an upgrade preferably Devon Smith or should I downgrade Smith for Walsh and spend $10k to upgrade Newell to Zorko

BTW: Newell is a rookie who doesn't even play

I say leave Newell, he has burn you and you have to live with the consequences.  It sucks, but a trade is too valuable to use on him.

Don't cull your cash cows until they are mature.  I'd rather Miss on Zorko than cull Mcdonald now if they were my options.  Mcdonald is solid when he plays and will be a slow burner, maturing later this season.

Save your trades and just get Zorko in for Smith, if you reallly have to.

Ok i've looked at all the options and decided that all my rookies still have $ to make I'm not going to get Zorko and hopefully I can find a justifiable downgrade for Tommy Walsh next week
