This league matters

Yes I am in 5 leagues but only one really matters. The one with my boss, the Commissioner. I must beat him but play him in Round 12 a bye round. I have decided to go all out just to win this game and to worry less about R11 and 13 as those teams havent scored well this season. He is 2nd on the table behind me which makes this even more vital. He wants my blood after I won the league last year.

My current line up is: (Bold players have the Round 13 bye)

Forwards - Buddy, Goodes, NRoo, Pav, Adams, Porps, Kennedy, DSmith, Hall

Commissioners current team:

Mids - Boyd, Pendlebury, Mitchell, GAJ, Magner, Shiel, Parker, Neale
Rucks - HMAC, Giles, Minson, Stephenson

Last week I traded Ellis out for Adams (moving Smedts to backs) and Ledger out for Horsley. I have $400,000 in the bank i am thinking about going either
Parker/Magner to Thompson/Murphy (if Parker is out injured), Kennedy to Brown/Beams, or
Bugg to Delaney/Brennan, Parker/Magner to Thompson/Murphy
Bugg to Delaney/Brennan, Kennedy to Brown/Beams

Wouldnt it be better to win the league than beat him. If your top of the ladder now it sounds like your going to make the finals. i would concentrate on having the best team come finals not a bye round.

If it were my team, i would make a move that would help you round 12 and help you win the league, magner to Mitchell would definitely be one, as he is much better value than Murphy and you can pick him up at a later stage. Im thinking a good idea for you might be to tank the round 13 game.

I can see you dont have lids and he does, that could really hurt you round 12 if he pumps out a big score so i would try and get him in for bugg.

The 3 mids that i am looking to get in to my team are Thompson, Murphy and would really love a Freo mid to step up as their draw is probably the best.

I would prefer to keep Parker as long as i can, but i am seriously considering chasing the points this week.
