Jukes

Bombers premiership, Stants for the Brownlow, Watto for Norm Smith, Walker for Coleman.

I picked seven teams and genuinely think each of them has a reasonable shot. There is, as of right now, no best team in the AFL (in my eyes, at least).

In the order they appear above, I think West Coast, Essendon, Adelaide, Carlton, Collingwood, Hawthorn, and Geelong are all plausible picks. If West Coast or Adelaide finish in the top 2, I give them a huge shot because the home ground advantage will really help them get to the final.

Obviously, as the teams change their form, that list could change...

I think after the grand final the 8 will be

Hawthorn
West Coast
Essendon
Sydney
Collingwood
Geelong
Adelaide
Carlton

Essendon are as much of a chance to win the Grand Final this year as I am to get laid IMO.

Buckley's and none.

Grand Final has no effect on the 8 so ugh, what?

Jukes

Not fully bias predictions then;
Top 4 in order; Bombers, Collingwood, Eagles, Crows.
Grand final: Bombers vs Eagles. Bombers winning by 23 points.
Brownlow: Take a pick from Stants, Watto, Thommo, Pendles and Boyd. Reckon GAJ and Swanny will have missed a couple of games too many to win it.
Norm Smith: Think Brent or Jobe after what they did to the eagles last time.
Coleman: Walker and Buddy look front-runners.
Rising Star: Coniglio.
Best player of the year: Maric and his mullet.

These are the teams that will make the top 8 and thus Crows and Blues will lose first round of finals , then Cats and Pies, etc

SydneyRox

I understood. You think hawks/eagles final!

As long as you dont have Sydney losing to the Eagles in the Prelim!

My eight:

1. West Coast
2. Essendon
3. Hawthorn
4. Adelaide
5. Sydney
6. Collingwood
7. Carlton
8. North Melbourne/Geelong/Fremantle/Richmond

Battle for 6,7 and 8 will be awesome to watch :D

Only Essendon is a guarantee for finals this year  ;D

Essendon
West Coast
Collingwood
Adelaide
Hawthorn
Carlton
Geelong
Saints/Sydney/Richmond/Freo

My 8 (9/10/11 :P) in no particular order, except for Essendon at the top and the last four fighting each other for positions.

Anyone going to start giving Crows more of a chance after thrashing Cats and Blues in the last 2 rounds?

Definitely! Being a swans supporter I have to think so or we're not in with a chance after round 6! No seriously, they look the goods at the moment, your mids have all improved, two good key forwards, a couple of good forward crumbers in Petrenko and Callinan, good ruck and solid defence. There is a lot to like.

;D, lost to C'Wood though... :-\

Why are people still rating Hawks so high? Do you guys still think they're good, just not getting their act together? Buddy, Mitchell and most of their important players aren't doing too much, doesn't help with Hodgey always on the sidelines..

Hahahahah fair call by Zombie on Jukes.

Surely we've firmed after our performance against the Dockers with a number of big names missing?!?!?

Not sure how Collingwood who will have 8 wins and 2 losses at the bye will fall below Sydney and Hawthorn.
