When I was watching the Saints keep Melbourne scoreless in the last quarter I noticed it was so similar to the Saints footy of 2 years ago. They have lost nothing from their grand final teams, and added better bottom end players in Milera, Simpkin, Stanley etc. Roo, Goddard and Dal Santo are building, Hayes is Hayes. Big Boy will be back for the majority of the 2nd half of the season when it matters. Watters can coach. Saints are my smokey to make the Grand Final.

I still think that if the Cats are there abouts come the end of the year they'll be hard to beat through finals

Exactly the same for me. I can't see sydney adelaide or fremantle winning in melbourne enough as they will need to to win the whole thing.
