^Kreuzer has only managed 0.5 goals per game this season, down from 0.6 in 2011, though his average hitouts has jumped from 12.3 to 20.2. His modest goal output will probably see him keep his ruck only status, though I think there have been a few games in the last couple of years where Kreuzer has played primarily as a forward with Warnock as the number 1 ruck. He might come into consideration for DPP but I don't think he will get it.

Also, as Fantasy Freako just pointed out, Steve Johnson has got 66.7% of his disposals in the midfield this season, and his average goals per game has dropped from 2.9 in 2010 and 2.2 in 2011 to 1.0 so far this season. Looking at those stats he certainly should be a MID/FWD in 2013.

Thats interesting, could have sworn I see him play at FF pretty often when he plays :o

Maybe he just isnt very good ;)

Ziplock

it's the blues that aren't very good in general :P

dpp is based not only on time spent u-p forward etc. but mostly on where a player gets their possessions.

DPP isnt as cut and dry as some are suggesting. Time spent/possessions gathered in different areas of the ground are key factors, but no certainty of a player getting DPP. In the past theres been some questionable DPP allocations and players who should've received it but didn't. For example lots of the rucks have spent time forward and kicked goals this year due to the sub rule, and guys like Cox would be eligible, but Virtual Sports wont give him DPP status...theres no way. It would be too big an advantage having guys like Cox swinging between ruck/fwd.

This is all true, but I do believe Cox will be DPP next season. It will be a players choice if they want a forward line like zaha, beams, sidey (won't be there next season though, just an example) or have a ruckman as a f7 in cox who could score a lot lower if he starts to let nicnat take more ruck time.

Ziplock

if they dont change the rules to deal with byes, people like cox are probably going to get dpp.

Ricochet

what are the chances of Fyfe keeping mid/fwd because he hasn't played many games?
also when do we actually find out?

Hagebear

If cox is DPP, Jarryd Roughead will be the most picked player in the forwards. Would be awesome to be able to swap them.

Fingers crossed they have their byes on 2 different rounds ;)

Forgot about the byes again for next year. Wow that was not enjoyable this year. Will be interesting to see if virtual sports make many changes for the byes next year.

Fingers crossed Dangerfield is MID/FWD, kicked plenty of goals even though he played a lot more in the midfield... Steele Sidebottom and Dayne Beams the same but of the three I reckon Beamsy is most likely to keep his DPP
