out of interest what is the way emergencies are used in terms of scoring? If Bartel was ruled out before lockout tonight and Magner is the emergency, does Magners score still contribute?

I was of the understanding it only contributes if the announcement was after lockout.....

The emergency just takes place of ANYONE with a zero on the field.
If you set two emergencies(in same position) you'll get the lower score, unless you have two zeroes. They cover ANY zeroes, not certain ones.

thx for that. Will keep in mind for future. Thought it was associated with lockout....

not correct.... if a player plays and scores zero... the zero counts (changed a couple of years back). If the player is sub and doesnt play you still get a zero... if the player is a late withdrawal then he is covered by an emergency.

Magner will cover bartel because bartel will not be listed on the final team sheet

Yeah, forgot to say that, emergencies only work if they DON'T play, so if they play and get 0 or even sub and get 0, it stays as zero.
