What you need to do is identify who will be the Jamar or Goldstein next year. McEvoy will probably get another run in my side next year along with the GC ruck. Seaby will fall to a backup ruck behind Mumford so I will stay clear. If Will Minson leaves then Jordan Roughead will be in my side as well. The final ruck position will go to whoever playes well in pre-season. Possibly Andrew Browne at Richmond depending on field time.

GC will be great for DT due to the amount of rookie players that will play.

This plan could work well in 2012 if u were to just grab the GWS 1st nd 2nd rucks

Thinking of going a little on the bargain ruck theory. If Saints win the GF, Gardiner will retire giving room for McEvoy to grow 8).

If Day and Smith are both in the rucks could be good 8).

even with mcevoy on the brink of being dropped for the gf? also yes what are the chances of will minson leaving?

McEvoy is dropped for the GF because of Baker. But Gardiner has said if the Saints win, he'll be hanging up the boots. This gives room for McEvoy to step into the team for next season.

I like him and Stanley as they can also be used up forward. Stanley is athletic while McEvoy has the body to be a solid figure. Would make a good tandem to use against any team. Can change them around if one isn't working. The other goes up forward ;).

Will be looking carefully at either of those 2 if Gardiner does retire and the Saints shouldn't recruit another senior ruckman this off season.

Anyone thinking about Jamie Charman for next year will be very cheap and i'm sure he'll be hungry. Along with the GC boys and Mc Evoy

Charman I doubt will break into the team at the Lions with Clark and Leu there. If he gets traded, a maybe.

GC rucks have to be considered, especially Day (MPP) and Smith.

Clarke did show glimpses in the forward line with that 5 goal haul, while fev was out. I wouldn't be surprised if Charmo is fit, they play Carke forward, push staker back and use Charmo as second ruck. If that happens.... bargain.

How many games did Charman play this year? The key to bargain Ruck is to get a basement price ruck who plays the first 8-10 games then trade up.
