Giles to Maric next week to handle Byes?

So one area I sort of lucked out with was rucks

started with HMac, Giles, Mummy and Redden

Mummy went pretty much straight away and became marc Murphy in the mids (double trade obviosuly) and both HMac and Giles have held the fort well

Its pretty clear Maric is having a great year and I was thinking of moving Giles on next week to maric in anticipation of the Byes

Anyone else see Maric as a good replacement in this situation?

The problem is now he already has made a lot of money, yes he had a big game last game so he will easily make BE the next two games but it may cost you two trades as you need to ask yourself is he a premium for the end of season? I personally don't think so

The way the rucks are playing this year though and all of the injuries i think he could become a keeper. will avg around 95-100

He will average a solid 90-100 I agree, however I just thought of leuenberger, the guy scored an 8 when he got injured and fell 56,000 even with two plus 100 scores, which means he should fall another $100,000 to $400000 upon return, I think he is out for another 6-8 but not sure, so after the byes.... He could be a great guy to get round 15ish after he falls in price and if u traded maric out (if Goldstein comes back and no1 rucks maybe hmac won't be a scoring to highly) then u should stand to make 100gs or there about and that's very handy to upgrade elsewhere

No mate, maric in now so u will get scores and money of him and upgrade to leu after trades and after his price drops big time

Fair call but i guess it comes down to Extra points V Extra Trade

i cant see Leu doing more than 10 - 15 ppg more than Maric

That extra trade could be very useful somewhere else

Good point on price drop though

Maybe a straight Giles to Leu and cop the donut is also on the cards

to be fair someone posted a thread on almost every player saying they will be a bargain.. so it was likely that there would be the odd one that delivered.. and if it wasnt for all the ruck injuries no one would would even bother with maric

who is your 4th ruckman? Orren?
if its orren then going giles to maric wont really solve your bye ruck problem..  u will still be relying on redden or orren to play to avoid donuts

Mate, i almost never bother with mid-pricers anymore, and MAric is the only one i went with this year and he is paying off? regardless on how many other spuds were posting about mid-pricers breaking out, i got this one spot on. So just let me have my moment......aaaaah feels good  ;)
