Can't make up my mind on these 2 and can only trade one in???

Colliwobblers

The VAST majority says Horsley but i'm more confident in Adams JS and the DPP link is valuable.

Just worries me Horsley may hold his spot when Ablett and Risci return, but a bad game and will he then?

Superman1978

Look at how many Gold coast players and GWS players you have then decide on the one you have the least of.

If one I'd go Horsley unless you need to downgrade a forward then Adams.

Hope this helps.

jasonweare

For bye structuring im going horsley in the mids

smashbox

ive got this dilemma aswel, and i agree with the comment 2 above.

Horsely job security when ablett and riscetelli come back in, may be threatened, and i rekon it will be unless he continues to dominate.

Kind of the same thing happened with miles and clifton, dominated the nab cup but as soon as the real season started they lost their spot because they werent in the plans no matter how well they played

BC2010

Unfortunately, my hand is forced...have to pick up Adams for Goodes.

HotTiges

Horsley the Gysberts of this year? lol

Well if you get Adams you'll be 1 of very few to not have Horsley!

Horsley vs Adams is like Black Caviar vs Mr Ed!  :P

Remember, GWS will rotate heaps, GCS have injury woes, esp with Harbrow, Matera out for lengthy spells.

Once Clifton & Treloar are fit, cya Adams!!!  ;)

the danger porps

Just like el paso adds. why not have both???

Mate I love your user name, not sure how many people actually get it! But I kind of disagree that Adams is like Mr.Ed. He has played and scored well in his two games. Sure GWS rotate but JMac,Greene,Sheil,Smith,Cameron,Mohr,Bugg,Giles,Kennedy have all been or will be rotated but are still doing the job for most. And I'd say that GC still rotate as well. Hard to know how Horsley will go with Ablett+Rischa back. Has been playing well too. Hoping I can get both, but either or both may or may not work out. Hard to split them IMO.

Don't forget Bock's out for a while! Which means Brown will most likely head down to the back half.

Cheers Buddy. Yeah hopefully there's a pot of gold at the end of my rainbow!  ;D
I've got a mate who posts on another side- he is a GWS GURU, & doesn't rate Adams JS, and I personally believe Horsley will be there for rnds 11 & 12, but doubt Adams will be there for rounds 12 & 13, therefore my rather harsh comparison.
At the end of the day, (it gets dark,  :P) Horsley fits my sytucture perfectly, I'll carry 2 of Greene/JMac/Sheil into the MBRs.
I would have thought that many teams have a Boyd/Rockliff/Thompson and 1 or 2, GWS rooks, and trades are so vital, that trading to Horsley would better suit most people's bye structure better- BUT it also depends on whether the aim is overall ranking or League.
Same would apply for fwd line I'd imagine, personally, I've got Dangerfield and Porps which I'd like to take into MBRs, so I need to eventually cull D.Smith.

Plus Brennan has a proppy knee, "The Canon," has calf issues..........
Horsley FTW imho!  ;)

Think I might pass on them both...none of my rookies are fully ripe. Would mean trading out one of Shiel or JMac in the middle or Milera/Hall/Treloar in fwds. Case of poor timing, will stick with who I've got and wait for someone else (Saad?Zorko?Whoever...) Goodes will be my 7th trade.

How much credibility does your mate have? I'm pretty sure Adams got into the side based on form, not rotations/injuries. He was playing really well in the twos. He has started on field both games, and hasn't been sub or subbed. I'd also say ATM that he is ahead of Sumner,Dyson,Miles,Reid,Bruce and Wilson. Can you ask him why he doesn't rate Adams' JS ?

milera is close enough to ready to go that i think you're costing yourself at least 50-100k by not doing that trade for adams. not to mention that hall isn't getting a game either, so holding onto him so he can jump another 50k if he comes back doesnt make sense when he's just stagnating on the bench.

re horsely eh it's probably not a big deal. would not trade jmac or shiel. who are your other mid rooks?
