cheers mate. im sure you're not doing that badly. whats you ranking at present?

Colliwobblers

24,655 maybe i can play a full team this week and improve it a bit :)

and for the record:

    Each eligible entry will receive a ranking based on their team score at the completion of Round 5;
    Each team in the top 131,072 entries will be matched up against another team in the next 131,072 entries based on their rankings;
    In Round 6, these teams will be matched up and play 'head-to-head' against one another, the winner being the team that scores the most points for the round;
    The winning teams proceed to the next round, losing teams are eliminated and take no further part in the Eliminator competition;
    The process is repeated with all remaining teams for the remainder of the season, until there are 2 teams remaining in Round 23. The higher scoring of the two teams in Round 23 will be deemed the Eliminator Winner;
    In the event of a tied score at any stage, the team with the highest total score for the season-to-date is deemed the winner - if this is equal, the winner will be the team who registered first in time.

Good luck for round 1 (6)

ah cheers i just found that. it only takes a couple of big scores to charge up the rankings at this stage of the year. all the best

I went up the ranks 6000 last week, to top 6000, and then dropped 6000 this week (goddard captain, porplyzia, cornes, hall, couch fmdt).

You can also come up against teams that were entered just before rnd 3, their points and overall position are lousy but they have the advantage of picking the best looking rooks 1st up, the best performing premos and avoid under-performers like pendles at peak price. In effect saving themselves the "fix-up" trades that most of us have had to do on some level, and being able to trade in the best underpriced guns at relatively bargain prices

......food for thought anyway  ???

still twice as high as me at 12,000 but thats a tough round for you, me i had sandi and hargrave sitting on deck chairs feeding me donuts while shaw and dempsey cried about thier hamstrings while bugg and clarke carried thier load in defence.

caddy showed me what a spud i am coniglio got spudded off at half time shiel warmed my bench with another sook known as the little master

devon smith got spudded into my fwd line in the 3rd quarter while dickson and kennedy refused to play at all

it can only get better :)

yeh i'm 185 at present. would be embarrassing if a ghostie took me out this week. they should ban ghosties from eliminator as it takes away from the legitimacy of the game itself.

I don't know exactly how there ranking system works because I was 13th last yr (rd5) and I def didn't play the 13th worse team eligible or a "ghost ship team". I also proceeded to player higher ranked teams than guys below me later in the eliminator.

BlackMamba

I think it's your round score not overall. Not 100% sure though.

It is your weekly score that determines who you play. I had my first crappy weekly score this week, so I will be happy to just win round 1.

Some people just make eliminator teams only and you can get some super opponents early which sucks. If you dodge them in round 1 and 2, you should get an easy round 3 and 4 etc until the real games begin :)

I knocked out 4th overall last year, and am trying to go better than round 17 this year but don't think it will happen with the stupid byes!!!

i see how it works now. not based on overall apart from the first week. i know i wont win but would be nice to keep the dream alive for ten rounds or so
