WEST Coast forward Josh Kennedy faces a fitness race after injuring his ankle in the Eagles’ bruising 10-point win over Richmond at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Kennedy appeared to roll his ankle mid-way through the second quarter but managed to play out the thrilling match, aided by tight strapping and painkillers.

The Eagles had already lost young forward Mitch Brown, who was subbed out of the match after copping a poke in the eye in the first minute of play, throwing his side’s rotations into disarray.

Big defender Eric Mackenzie was a late withdrawal from the game with an ear infection.

RICHMOND on-baller Brett Deledio twisted his knee in a collision with teammate Shane Tuck, but was able to return to the match late in the second term.

Tigers forward Jack Riewoldt was left doubled over and vomiting after an off-the-ball hit from Eagles midfielder Scott Selwood, who could face heat from the match review panel over the incident.

ADELAIDE forward Taylor Walker could face scrutiny from the MRP following his near best-on-ground display against Port Adelaide on Sunday.

Walker, who bagged a career-best half-a-dozen goals, could be cited for a slide-in challenge on Port midfielder Jacob Surjan.

Crows skipper Nathan van Berlo will face a fitness test this week before his side’s looming clash with an unbeaten Sydney at the SCG after he copped a corked thigh against the Power.

Forward Jason Porplyzia (deltoid strain) and young defender Sam Shaw (hamstring) will also face tests during the week.

BRISBANE lost midfielder James Polkinghorne before the start of the Lions’ washed-out and woeful loss to Geelong at the Gabba.

COLLINGWOOD triumphed over Essendon by a single point in the ANZAC Day epic on Wednesday and came out of the match relatively unscathed.

The Magpies could welcome back star goalsneak Dale Thomas for their clash with the Western Bulldogs on Friday night, as he battles to overcome a hamstring strain.

Key talls Ben Reid (quad) and Chris Tarrant (calf) could miss another week as they continue with their recoveries.

WEST BULLDOGS defender Ryan Hargrave was a late withdrawal from his side’s win over the Giants with a hip complaint and will be monitored during the week.
