From the way I saw it, the strikes were pretty similar.. Raines obviously just hit the sweet spot.. Selwood went down like a sack of Shower.

Did you see him go to ground a few minutes later? Impact will be graded as high.

This is a thread about Joel Selwood not Scott Selwood you absolute muppet. Eagles have not even played yet so why the flower are you even talking about them. Dont worry about Geelong vs Eagles i am talking about Joel "free's for" Selwood.

I traded in J.Selwood this week because i was sick of being frustrated with all the free kicks he gets.
This way at least it only annoys me from a football perspective but the blow is softened a little as i get points in SC/DT.

Now the flowering idiot goes and does something stupid and will sit on my bench for 3 weeks!!
Serioulsy dislike this guy at the moment!!

As for west coast free kicks ... they have been up the top somewhere (around the top 4 anyway) all last year and this year so far again ... this is because they were first to the ball ... when you are first to the ball you tend to win a lot of free kicks.

Do they duck (or drop their knees) - of course they do ... just like J.Selwood showed S.Selwood to do ... and now S.Selwood has shown the rest of the team LOL

It is now part of the game to do this ... the rule NEEDS to be changed!!!

By top 4 I meant on the ladder ... I wasn't referring to the free kick count.
The ladded position can somewhat at least be attributed to the fact they are first to the ball ... this helps their free kick count.

I agree they do head duck ... but soon all clubs will be doing this.  It is not their fault or J.Selwoods.  It is against the spirit of the game for sure but at present it is within the rules ... REALLY hope the AFL do something about it.

As for the topic at hand ... the Geelong coach needs to fix the attitude of his players ... they can't keep doing these stupid acts like punching blokes ... full stop.  There is no room in the game for this anymore!! Not a great example to set our kids!!
