gday boys just wanting your tips for rucking options.
at the moment i have kruezer and tippet pencilled in with robbie warnock and jackson trengove as emergencies.
but then iv been thinking bout the cox and hille combo or even tippet and hille combo to free up coin.
what do you guys think?

MrRiosWan

Theres the Sandilands Ottens combo to keep in mind as well. Kreuzer and Tippett are both good but Hille is still recovering from a busted knee and not necessarily garaunteed to play round 1.

Dees for the Draft

I'm staying away from Hille - he's dirt cheap, but could have injury problems.

He's also had no pre-season.

Big Cox has had a limited pre-season and is expected to miss the Eagles first NAB Cup match.

I think the rucks to look at are:
Kreuzer
Sandilands
Brennan
Cox
Mumford (could be a smokey as a cheap ruck)
Tippett
Jolly (although I think he'll drop in price after some massive scores for Sydney last year)

And the Emergencies I'd look at are:
Skipper
Lobbe
Trengove
Warnock

nas

Sandi & Kruez with Skipper & Lobbe as emerg.

Big Maxie Gawn has a knee injury and won't play until at least half way through the season.  Look elsewhere.

Mitch Clark is worth a look too. From round 8 last year he averaged over 109 in SC with his lowest score during that period being a 66, along with a couple around the 140 mark. Not too shabby and 44 grand cheaper than big sandi. Iv heard some people say hes injury prone but he played every game last year, unlike Cox and Sandi.

Blueboys

McIntosh & Kreuzer

I have Tippet in the Forward line.  ;D

Warnock as emg Ruck

The thing with Mitch Clark is that both Charman and Luenberger will be back this season. This means that Clark will be i na time share for the ruck whereas he was Brisbanes only real option last season.

He was drafted as a key forward so he could rest up front but not a lot of room for him there with Brown and Fev running around too.

Just read that Knights is saying Hille is a round 1 to round 4 prospect for returning, and they are mighty impressed with his rehab. I think I'll go with him, and just ensure I have reserve rucks that are actually getting a gig.

McIntosh & Tippet at the moment, could be Mcintosh and Kruezer by season start,
Hamish is definately in, he was good early last season dropped off a bit late, but hes that 25-26 age where rucks really have their fitness base right up near peaking, like when hille and cox started playing their best footy!!!

staying away from Cox due to his interrupted pre-season, and same with Ottens!! i was wrapped with my pick of ottens last year with a 160 in round 1, then i was crying the next week. haha, put in mcintosh and liked his work thats why im sticking with him!

Justin Bieber

i have a brennan seaby combo at the moment. would get on hille if he shows some form when he gets back.

Last year i escaped a bullet. I had otten in my team but traded him out for tippett just before the computer crashed on me. Was killing myself after ottens scored that much but was relieved after he got injured round 2.

I've now decided to go with Sandilands, Brogan, and Brogan's backups in Jackson Trengove and Lobbe. My thinking is you know Brogan will play and give a score around the 70 mark consistently. If he misses you know Lobbe and or Trengove will get a gig.

I'll probably change my mind yet again but that is my thought process at present.
