He rarely gets a mention outside of Germany because he isn't as flashy as other players. He is never classed or mentioned in the same word as the elite midfielders. He would be a starter for any of the top team's midfield (maybe not Madrid/Barca).

On a side note, bloody City. When Nasri blew that late chance, I thought it was gonna be destiny that Man Utd were gonna come back. Now his gonna win a trophy before the Gooners unless Newcastle pulls off a miracle. Man U better keep trying. Nani and Rooney looked shocking. Chris Smalling's mistake reminded me of Gibbs' mistake a few years ago in the UCL when he slipped over Man U.
