Needs plenty of work mate. There are a lot of players where you don't know when they will play due to long term injuries or how they will fit in at new clubs i.e. Jesse Smith, Buckley, Clarke, Palmer.

Some advice is to buy SC studs and rookies, generally starting a few of the better rookies (generally 1 per position but up to you). Getting rookies frees up cash to get better players for example getting Scully instead of Kerr frees up $240K and turns Jarrad Mcveigh into Ablett, and you don't win in SC unless you have Ablett as captain.

Obviously it's dependent on how Smith, Buckley, Clarke and Palmer play in the NAB Cup... But Smith, Buckley and Clarke are shoe-in's for a 70+ average if they plays and Palmer is a shoe-in for an 80+ average if he plays. That's all I require out of those players.

Tom Scully doesn't have the scope to score 160 in a game - I acknowledge Kerr is a risk due to a myriad of reasons, but at $414K he is irresistible for mine.

Agree on Ablett Jnr. Cannot figure out a way to bring him into my team at this stage, but the McVeigh bros. are staying. Might downgrade Carrazzo and upgrade Swan?

dont put lobbe as a 2nd ruckman

Gumby, nice team but see a few problems with it.

i agree with your 3 injury prone backliners that they all can score well but smith would find it pretty hard to break into the team.

Your forward line is gun packed and probably the most expensive area you spent in. I would downgrade a guy (goodes because of his price) to a cheapie/mid pricer to save a good 200 - 300k. This gives you the money to afford ablett and upgrade lobbe in the rucks to at least a mid priced ruckman like hille of mumford.

My suggestion is to maybe start a rookie in the mids as there are 3 guys who should play most of the games bar injury (morabito, martin and scully).

Hey Gumby, what was Buckley's problem last season? I'm not having a dig here, I honestly can not remember. He only played the 1 game so not sure what his injury was and if/why he couldn't get back in Melbourne's side.

Your faith in him seems pretty solid so just trying to get some perspective on this.

Dees for the Draft

Not a fan of Kerr - struggles with a tag, although with Masten, Priddis etc copping more tags, he could improve.  I still wouldn't touch him though.

Lobbe needs to move to the bench - he may not even play beyond the first few rounds.

Smith, Buckley and Clarke aren't guaranteed games and you should've have all three in your side.

Swan will drop in price, not a fan of either McVeigh

Higgins is injury prone, Boomer is getting on.

Sorry for the harsh critisism, but I'd start again if I were you.
