Nice Plan.

Just a concern with benches if you require them to play. Probably only Zorko and Treloar assured of JS from your bench.  Giles may also slow down so you may need to trade him in due course to remain competitive. (If he drops to say average 80 you may be giving ground to an opponent who may have 2 real prems eg Maric and Sandi etc,

cheers. No real rooks with great JS coming through. So if I wait for some that do, if there appear, I will delay upgrades & lose points.
I think if you are going to have a team full of premo your bench will have to have some risks don't you think? can you see good rooks coming through?

Was just pointing out the risk in case you wanted to address if you thought it major and in case you had not seen it.  No real rookies with JS coming through either.
Only real issue would be in defence as you can cover Mids Forwards via your DPP with Zorko and Treloar.
If Docherty plays games for Brisbane would be tempted to replace Sexton with Docherty then you have all options covered with Dochertys DPP to Backs.
If you still have 3/4 trades in finals I would still be tempted to upgrade Giles.

Good Plan - Not 100% sold on Goldy when Mac comes back but your decision. Personally would look at Nic Nat.

Also would not upgrade Porps if he continues to score at his average rate will be OK as F7 even rotating with Treloar. Just to keep a trade up your sleeve but your decision.

thanks ringo - not 100% on the plan. feels like a balls out trade stratergy with a big risk. yeah i could rotate zorko, porps & Treloar for F7. not sure on goldy either i guess he fits the cash i will have.

I am sitting in top 1000, with 3 trades left. Is my season over?

Season may be over for overall depending on how many points you are behind.  Interestingly read a statistic where quite a few of the players in top 500 do not have any trades left so you may go up the ladder over the next few weeks.
Maybe strengthen rucks but not sure of cash, If short of cash but this will use 2 trades and leave you only one but need not do straight away is porps to Pattinson/Staley and upgrade Reddan to a prem ruck you can afford. Will give you great versatility in that you can play Roughy in forwards or Rucks and Zorko in forwards or Mid,  Will give you a strong and versatile bench. Your choice though.

been flying into the top 700 this week with a 2612. With 3 trades left do i continue to hold? could do elliot>stanley, Giles>Nic Nat

Would still sit this week as well unless you need to win which I doubt.  3 trades will help through finals. With the exception of Ruck bench and Sexton all your bench are playing so good coverage.
