I am tossing up between two structures, once has S. Hill on bench (defence) but at 142k I am thinking it is a bit of a waste of cash. What are peoples thoughts on how much cash should be sitting on bench

Uncle

keep him on the bench. i have doubts as to whether he'll have a palmer type start, but he is a must to be in your squad

Pozzato

with Hill's stick figure body he might struggle a bit in the AFL
but i think that $142k is too pricey for the bench
if you were going to have him you should start him

chunky

I'm not sold on Hill yet although I agree he is going to be a great player in the future.

But 142k is too much to keep him on the pine. He has a slight frame and I am not convinced his body will stand up to the ferocious way that he plays.

For my bench I prefer to look at an 86k player at the season start (such as Suban) and look to bring Hill in if he performs well and is fit and firing after the first 3 rounds.

Thanks guys. I understand what your saying chunky/pozzatto about his frame etc which is a reason not to start him, but cashcow wise he doesnt need to be the most durable, just be able to get a few high scores so he can be sold for cash..I think if I can make a structure that Im please with, with him on the pine, I will..otherwise have to leave him out. Cheers.
