As a newbie a bit of advice if you want advice on your whole team start a new topic in the Rate my Supercoach section. 

Anyway You have to do something with your defence with Darley, Yagmoor  and Shaw not playing.  No sure of cash but you need to correct one of the rookies possibly Yagmoor.
You have a similar situation with Smith, Clifton and Ledger in mids.
You are also a forward short but you can field a full forward line.

Have you done any trades yet?

This week i would be looking at fixing rookies Yagmoor to Rookie you can afford and Clifton > Treloar

This will avoid donuts for you this round.

i will trade clifton for treloar and can trade yagamoor for jackson paine?

is it worth while trading shaw for geary and with the extra cash trade clifton with a good midfilder?

Depends on what you think Shaw will average for season as you chose him as a premium.  If you trade out you will then be relying on broughton as your third defender which imo is not the best outcome. Stick to the trades you have suggested.
As these are you first trades next week i would look at Smith and Ledger to Treloar and McDonald. You may see comments on here that players are on the bubble this means that players are playing their second game and will be due for a price rise after they play the third game.  You will also see the terms B/e which means the score required for players to maintain thier current price.  So in this case both McDonald and Treloar will play their second games and have negative B/es which means a price rise in round 3. Early trades should basically be used to correct rookie selections.
Bit late now and this may serve next year in the first 2 rounds keep an eye out for rooks that are high scoring and trade in. You have missed out on Magner and Adam kennedy whose prices have jumped.

Ledger to McDonald is a trade you should do this week.
Would not consider Paine to Townsend - Townsend already at ceiling and a waste of a trade. Only way i see of avoiding a donut is trade Shaw but as it is early in the season may be better to just cop it. Your decision.

My choice for Fyfe would be Sidebottom.

That would be the only trade I would use this week. I may be inclined to downgrade Clay Smith as he is the one I see not rising too much more in value. If not keen on Pfeiffer another option may be Crisp if named who is on the bubble and only $94k.  Will probably be in Brisbanes team for the next 3/4 weeks and give you a nice cash return when you trade in Zorko.  Your decision though.

Your decision:
Would consider Dickson to Adams - Dickson does not look like getting games soon so better to get a cash cow in there.
Also consider Goodes to Horsley to also get a cash cow and nice cash chest. Alternately Goodes straight to mid prem and forgo Horsely.

Next week Shiel/Magner to mid prem you can afford with cash.
