i realise these are risky picks but i reckon if they come off these blokes will be the cash cows of the comp. haviing said that ill watch their pre seasons. and thanks for the reply

not a bad start. dont think lucas will play much in a midfield of gibbs, murphy, simpson, carrazzo, judd etc. and not sure if buckley is a certainty to get a game, must watch him in NAB. Guerra is old, think his best is past him! is cotchin fit and healthy? I havent heard much about him yet this yr. Other than that it looks pretty good!

cheers for the reply i agree that lucas probly wont get a shot in the midfield but im hoping he will get a run in the forward line i will watch his nab cup. cochin is another to watch during the nab as well. who should i replace guerra with and is there a good replacement for cotchin

What do you mean by, your subs are the cheapest ones you can get? I hope they aren't all 78k rookies are they?

Try to upgrade Guerra to Birchall if you can. Birchall is more consistant both scoring wise, and injury wise, plus he has more upside as he is still improving.

Simon Buckley, just watch for him in the NAB. He is good enough to play in that team, it's just a case if HE wants to.

Josh Hunt or Kennelly, take your pick and watch them in the NAB. I am leaning towards Kennelly at the moment.

Got to upgrade Lingy, there is absolutely no upside to him and is stuck between a Premium and Mid. He will only average you a max of 90 for the year and other teams you play against will have 95+ players in that position.

Cotchin is a BIG iffy. Armitage, Grigg, Ebert or Ward are all better options. And a BIG no no for Clinton Young, he's still in the rehab group because of his hip...your much better off grabbing Dangerfield as he should bump his average up into the 70's this year.

Solid ruck division.

Lance Franklin as you might know is missing round one due to suspension, so I hope you have cover for him. Porpy isn't going anywhere with his scoring rate this season, perhaps a matty stokes or lecras are better options. Walker could be an inspired choice as he was a December hero according to AFC.

In that midfield you need a rookie, someone like a Dustin Martin, Morabito or Tom Scully. Get Young out of there, use the cash to upgrade Ling and Cotchin. And you could even get lecras for porpy and then upgrade Guerra.

Guerra isn't actually that old, he's actually only 27. But even still he's a no no when it comes to DT

 I really don't thnk Palmer can be classed as an injury worry just yet.  He's copped one bad one, let's see what happens over the next 6 months.  I mean, last year could be nothing more than good old fashioned bad luck - absolutely nothing to do with a "weak constitution".

Buckley may not get a game & sheppard as well as 2 minimums is risky.Cotchin seems injury prone & has never hit the heights as a high points scorer.Kruezer overpriced for his points output & if hes going to play forward more(warnock) hes even less valuable.Forward line dodgy,Brown franklin porplyzia all great on there day but terrible if they have an offy,Higgins injury prone & lucas & walker far from assured a game.2 years ago i chose 8 minimums & paid the price id look at 2 first rounders & 1 minimum & 1 value price veteran like kennelly.And only 1 premium ruck & 1 key forward only,in fact i would go brown or franklin/higgins/dangerfield maybe porplyzia.And if someone doesnt play pre season dont pick em.Eg veszpremi & headland last year,cheap price but there 2-3 week injuries turned out to be 12 & more
