Surely "That mark" will be one of the defining moments...
Im sure "Leaping Leo" is still talking about it.

number 2 - Midfield Superstars, 1986
While Williams received the Brownlow Medal in 1986, it was Healy who claimed the club best and fairest award - a feat he would repeat again in 1987 and 1988.

This one was massive for us, it was our worst season ever - 1 win in 1993, not much better in 92 (3wins).
Barassi took over and the club was a mess, but I remember the change in spirit that started when he took over as well.
He was also responsible for getting Lockett and Roos to the club as well.

We played in a grand final - which we should have won in 1996 - and Barassi had a lot to do with it!

i started following the swans in '87 after dad and i drove up to Sydney from Wollongong to watch Dad's roos play. I knew from then the Swans were my team after seeing Capper jump on peoples heads and kick a bag.

#9 - Paul Kelly wins Brownlow Medal, 1995

My favourite player to watch when I first started, loved how he went about the game. He was the heart and soul of the team and was always the first player under into a pack.

Truely deserved medal.
