I've tried to pick a team with a bit more "depth", trying not to rely too much on rookies in the early weeks. Even though you can make good money there, I think most of these "mids" should make cash as well. Tell us what you think....good or bad!

Dees for the Draft

Not too bad.

Grima was good last year, but will you get much improvement this year?

I'd look to start Shepard in the backline instead.

Dalziell is an unknown at WCE - he's more of a SC player also.

Hartlett is talented, but it's a risk to put him in.  He could be good, but he could disappoint compared to some other 2nd year players.

Like the forward line - Higgins is an injury risk though.

I'd look to bring in Cunnington.

Frontbum is an interesting one.  Not sure on game time considering the Pies haven't really lost anyone and have gained Ball.  It's a risk to have him as a player on the ground.

Grima has been burning it up on the track, coming top 3 in the time trials (not bad for a big bloke) and if Hartlett is over the back/groin problem he had last year, he'll be spending plenty of time in the midfield this year along with Boak and with Rodan out and K Cornes (and the CHAD) more than likely to be running off half back, Chocko will be wanting to pump plenty of midfield time into these two. Frontbum should get more games/gametime this year as well....his performances in the finals last year weren't too bad and he has plenty of upside.

pretty gd team overall lking u having  mclean which could pay off with some great players suppluying him in the carlton mid

Torress

i think thats a good team considering the restrictions u placed on yourself..
clearly u gotta pick a few rookies but u gotta get the balance right - don't think waters will be right come rd1 - i traded hartlett in last year - watched him play a bit and he is a classy player with great footskills and he seemed to make the right decisions as well - i like the pick. have heard the rumour of sidebum training house down but i've heard thomas has been training house down for mid rotations but that didn't improve his fantasy numbers.. agree with dees 4 draft - too many ppl taking points off him and ball to boot?? must be a better midpricer who will breakout higher -

Blueboys

Good Team Brand,

Backs: Solid

Grima will be interesting.

Mids: Strong -

Hartlett could pay off.

Rucks: Solid

Forwards: Good

Higgins - injuries last year
Sidebottom - Number 1 rule not pies! hahahaha

It's a very good team overall  ;D

Dees for the Draft

I tend to agree with the Higgins = injuries comments.

He was brilliant last year, but that was because of his price.

He's not worth the risk this year.
