I created a excel spreadsheet, called it the side tracker, to monitor teams in my cash league. Anyway the guy who has the 2nd highest total overall has done some pretty stupid trades.
Round 2:
Kennedy In Morris Out
Round 3:
Morris In Smedts Out
Greene In Shiel Out

To double trade one cash cow in Morris in and Out is just plain madness.

 :o wow

Can't imagine he will have the 2nd highest overall score for long...

It just so happens I know (of) that guy, and he has a history of doing very, very well in overall DT ranking. Can't argue with results.

Zombie2.5

How'd he even get Kennedy in for morris ???
Are you sure those are his trades :O

He could possibly just have chosen a good team but is a noob on the strategy side of DT?
No idea, and i just can't see anyone doing that, unless they had unlimited trades :P

Praetorian

He could get Kennedy in for Morris by messing around with DPPs, e.g Morris out, sub Smedts from the forward to the backline, bring in Kennedy.

I remember the guy who won DT about five years ago made a couple of weird trades like that. Sideways traded Ablett to Gibbs or something.

Move Smedts from forward to back - certain of trades.

'The Dims Sims' is his team name, is that the guy you know.

Just shows that early trade polish may save trades in the long run. Everyone is so hardcore about not trading early... but you know what, when you have a muppet, to keep him is just stupid. Trade the the spud before he hurts you in the long run..

So you trade out a rookie on one performance (morris) then trade him back in the following week. Thats terrible. I got no problem in trading early if you got it massively wrong with the rookies.
