hendo88,

I dont mind your defence you would want Jesse Smith to be playing and he is an unknown at this stage Nab Cup we will see how he goes I dont mind him but he has to get himself right for a big year and to get into the saints side is a big ask. Helps now that Lovett has let himself down he could slip into calculations for a spot for good.

Mids a few risks with Burgs the main one as he hasnt done much training as yet. Thompson is a good one cause he had a cracker of a 2008 and still did well this year but down on 08 form. Cooney should improve and Palmer should be a keeper and McVeigh should bounce back hopefully as long as he doesnt injure himself again.
Blease is aiming for VFL come back before he gets into the Dees team so that will be interesting.

Rucks look pretty good.

Forwards 3 Demons on the forward line in your team isnt a bad thing as long as they are playing thats all that counts.Bate is a good scorer, Trengove you would think will play first up and Tapscott we play also sooner rather then later hopefully maybe ? keep track in Nab Cup. I have also got Trengove and Tapscott in my team.

Good start though keep track during Nab Cup.

Watch out for McVeigh hendo. I am thinking of him also but the idiot loses his cool at the drop of a hat. You don't want him sitting in the stands because of his latest brain fart just when you've got that big match coming up with your main rival.

On McVeigh, a year ago I had him down as odds-on to be next captain of Essendon.  The frustration with injuries keeping him off the track probably had a bit to do with his idiotic behavior and brain snaps.  Having lost the captaincy which could have been his, the penny may have finally dropped.  My bones tell me he's going to have a big year and when he's on-song - lookout!  I really believe that if he can stay healthy he is exceptional value and should easily average in the 90's.

Blueboys

Who is your capt with no Swan or Gazza????

Your mid looks weak....

Dees for the Draft

Not sure about Macca Jnr in your backline.  Brisbane backs tend to score well, so whilst he'll get a game every week and be important to the Dees, I'm not sure whether he'll be a value for money pick.

Midfielders need to be looked at.  I'm not convinced by Burgoyne or Thompson.  Prehaps look at downgrading one of them to a top draft pick rookie and upgrade the other to a gun, particularly consider Gabblett.

I like Bate in the forward line, but question Boomer and Higgins as they're both a bit injury prone, and in Boomer's case - past his best.
