Here we go guys.....first draft for dreamteam 2010, came in the top 2500 last season which was my first crack at it....hope to go a bit better this year. Tell me what you think...........

Brendon Goddard
Corey Enright
Luke Hodge
Nick Maxwell
Jesse W. Smith
Rick Ladson
Josh Hunt

Phil Davis     bench
Matt Maguire     bench

Sam Mitchell
Gary Ablett jnr
Luke Power
Adam Cooney
Patrick Dangerfield
Dustin Martin

Lewis Jetta      bench
Anthony Morabito     bench

Dean Cox
Brad Ottens

Robert Warnock   bench
Matthew Lobbe     bench

Brett Deledio
Shaun Higgins
Matthew Pavlich
Sean Rusling
Brett Burton
Jack Trengove
Ben Cunnington

Luke Tapscott       bench
Scott Gumbleton    bench

Normally wouldn't touch Burton with a ten foot pole and Ottens in the ruck could be a worry with injury and his aversion of having anything to with a thing called preseason, but the rest doesn't seem too bad. Salary cap in DT doesn't seem to spread as far as in SC.

Lets hope so.....Monty has upgraded him to C/B

mcwarne

With all due respect to Monty, he will only really know the true classification of players dual positions when the rest of us know. When DT is OPEN. He is using calculated guesses at this stage.
PS. Rusling = donut.

put dangerfield in your forward line. luke power really? he is too old and his best is behind him. lots of mid-priced mids and you could swap for him, ward, swift, palmer for example

Ladson is a must I feel and he should be solid this season for the Hawks he is training well. Smith you hope can break into the Saints team and get himself right thats the only risk there with him.

Midfield is great. Luke Power may play more in the forward line as a crumbing goal sneak since Rhan Hooper has gone. But he is most likely to play 22 games and doesnt really get injured to much and he gets the ball when in the midfield.
Rucks not sure about Ottens since he is injured now. Maybe go for someone else there.
I like the risk you have gone for with Burton and Rusling in the forward line, But I would choose one of them instead of both and choose another player to fill the spot there.

hey pretty decent team  but have u made sure that this fits the budget it  looks too expensive other then that good team

phenom

Not touching Ottens anymore. He injured himself again over the off season so will have a restricted pre-season and may be eased back into the AFL competition. Geelong will make sure he is right for finals so will rest him at any oppurtunity.

I'd be wary about JWsmith too. Has had a very injury-laden career so far.

Everyone starts with 20 trades.

Except for the coaches that pick Ottens and Rusling - they have 18.
