That isn't true. If they were all non-merged, they'd be spread across 10+ pages. People rarely look pass page 1, let alone page 3. So what would happen? They'd create another thread....

Take my thread as an example. If you looked at this thread's poll, you'd figure the vast majority of Fyfe owners were trading him out this week. That isn't true. Did you take a look at my poll's results before you deleted it? The very fact that this thread is 28 pages long and has been going for days means that the poll's outdated. That's why I made a new thread.

To each their own, though. I've never understood the argument that someone hates seeing so many Fyfe threads. They still get showerloads of views and replies, so clearly you're in the minority. And it's not like you're being forced to read them.

But for other people, if there are 7 threads on basically the same topic of Fyfe on one page, that means there are less other topics on other subjects available. Not fair on others reading or creating.

Fair enough, I feel for you and your duties as a moderator. I find it laughable that people would actually complain about something like that, though. I've not seen more than three or four Fyfe threads on the first page at any one time, and even if there were, I don't think I'd be frustrated enough to send you a complaint rather than clicking the little '2' button at the bottom of the page and keep looking.

If people have made up their minds, good for them. Don't read any more Fyfe threads. Clearly, a lot of people haven't. Why punish them because people can't be assed waiting three seconds for page 2 to load? Sounds like people are more frustrated that Fyfe threads are getting more attention than their own, or that there aren't any other interesting topics. That ain't the fault of the Fyfe thread creators.

So, let's hypothetically say Fyfe is playing (no vest at all) and his shoulder is just fine - who would go to him? Given his potency as a goal kicking mid will Jones shut him down while Dal Santo/Montagna runs head to head with Mundy/Barlow? Even if he is 100% is he likely to score well this week given the way the Saints will surely look to nullify him?

I think some people just make their own thread thinking that it solely applies to them.

It doesn't usually, most trades last week were very common. I use threads and get advice from them, just because you didn't make the thread, doesn't mean the information/advice been said doesn't apply to you.
